Ripoff Report Verified Safe

When I lost my job of 18yrs at The phone company (another fraudulent company) I called the bank to make arrangements. I couldnt work out anything with them till i was 3 mo's behind they said. So.. in the meantime I was actually out of work for 3 mos and this whole time they are calling harrassing me 'where is My pmt.'

By the time I got my 401K$ and was able to catch up my payments, they said that a total of $9000 plus was due in order to get it out of foreclosure. I paid it to keep my house. Now it shows I had a foreclosure on my credit, but I never foreclosed on it. I saved it! Where did all my $9000 go and why do I have to remain at 11% interest , being denied the chance to refinance bcuz I have a foreclosure.

Again, the foreclosure was never final!! I'm tired of gettin ripped off! any help for this single parent of three would greatly be appreciated!!!!! HELP!!

Drowning in the 'Sea of Ocwen'

Another victim drowning in the 'Sea of Ocwen'. My heart goes out to you.

There are not many life rafts in the 'Sea of Ocwen', but there is one heavy-duty huge rescue ship, manned by hundreds of fellow victims. They all want to help you.

The captain of this rescue vessel is Mr. Kweku Hanson and here is the contact information:

Contact: Kweku Hanson
487 Main Street, Suite Two
Hartford, CT 06103-3007
email:leagltek@mindspring.com

Mr. Hanson is the lead plaintiff in a huge class-action in Hartford, CT.

No one can beat Ocwen alone; they lie, lie, and lie some more. They cheat, they steal money and homes. One on one cannot be done. Many is what it will take. It is being done every day in this suit. Join with all the other voices.

I understand that time grows short for the Ocwen ogre and all its cronies and cohorts. The shorter, the better in my mind. Ocwen is a slimy soul-sucker and has broken many hearts, many families.

Time is of the essence; I do not know when the inevitable fall will come and I do not know if there is a cut-off date to join this suit, since I am not directly involved.

Please hurry, this is the best chance you will have to save your home for yourself and your children. Our prayers are with you.

In Ocwen's Defense

I'm sorry that you lost your job, and we do put borrowers on pymt plans. However, if you have no money to be put on the pymt plan in the first place then how can we have possibly worked with you.. we cant deferr mtg pymts. On the contract you signed you stated you would have your pymt in each month, Unemployed or employed you are still obligated to make the pymts. And after 3 months you do start Foreclosure proceedings, legal fees are assessed (review your 'right to reinstate' clause in your contract and in there will be an area that states a mortgagor has the right to stop FC proceedings provided the mortgagor pays all sums that would be due plus expenses incurred by the mortgagee to enforce the mtg).. and yes, FC will stay on your credit upto 7 years.

So with that said and done, Ocwen did nothing wrong.

In regards to your interest rate, Ocwen has nothing to do with your interest rate. We only service loans, you got that int.rate according to your credit, ....not our fault.

Regarding calling you alot, i do admit we do call people way to often, however, legally we are allowed to contact a person who is late at least once a day (meaning having contact with the person). Also, we having an Automated Dialing system (like MANY other companies do) that dials your number, not the rep on the other end. So, regardless of calling to tell us you lost your job we do inform people they will receive follow-up calls.

All, hail, Emperor Ocwen! Let the parade begin!

Hope your boss reads your little post so you can get those brownie points for shilling (and maybe a little bonus as well ?).

You have the same self-righteous, pompous, sanctimonious attitude seen universally in Ocwen employees. The “you are so wrong, we are so right and never do anything wrong". “We only service loans". Are you sure about that? What service, where is it?

Deep down in your heart you know that Juli signed her mortgage with the express intention of not paying it, don’t ya’? According to Ocwen, ALL borrowers do that.

In order to help Juli cope with the loss of her job of eighteen years (gee, doesn’t sound like a deadbeat to me) Ocwen helped her out by piling fees on her. All those phone calls were certainly making her think fondly of Ocwen. I can see how Juli can barely imagine life without Ocwen today. And showing a foreclosure on her credit record in order to cement the wonderful relationship between Ocwen and Juli is a stroke of genius, isn’t it?

How about some REAL help for this lady and her children? Try removing the foreclosure from her credit record and letting her slip the bonds of Ocwen. Call her one more time to tell her the good news; that she can release herself from bondage. She paid dearly; $9,000.00 worth! Let that auto-dialer go crazy! Be the bearer of good tidings for a change.

If you cannot or will not do that, you are just another Ocwen mouth with a mighty roar and a feeble argument. Leading the parade for Emperor Ocwen and waving your baton like all good cheerleaders.

Have you noticed yet that the Emperor has no clothes?

Thank You
