Ripoff Report Verified Safe

Recently, I was looking for some good Auto Insurance Company.

Tried GEICO who claim will save you 15% or more on auto insurance (TV-ad) and was 'UNABLE' to save you money on your car insurance (they ask you to raise your deduction instead...What?).

Find out about Progressive.com and gave it a try.
That's when nightmare started...

1. My car died out after some salt water got into the engine compartment...I had to rent the car for few days to purchase my new car, so I called Progressive.com to see if I had the rental coverage (they got your coverage online) They filed my claim but when I called them to confirm it, I was told that I do not have the rental coverage...I told them Ok, that's fine...Thanks.
But, the next day I got a call from them and had to do 15 minutes of recording statement and was treated like some kind criminal.

2. Now, I tried to put my new car into the policy and took out my old car online (permanently disable).
But, my policy coverage keep coming up as the wrong package with the higher premium the next day. I keep changing it back but it keep coming up with the higher policy with higher insurance and option selection...I HAD NO FREEDOM TO CHOOSE MY POLICY.
I called them to complaint and they said 'we will send you the letter for you to change those policy' WHAT DA HECK IS THAT!

3. I have decided to CANCEL my auto policy with this 'PONZI' company...called them cancel my auto insurance policy with Progressive. They asked me to write a letter and send it to them...Done! Two weeks after that they send me a letter asking me to send their ID card back...I told them I discarded ID card
with their policy. Then they instruct me to write another letter and fax it to them this time...Done! A month later they send me another letter saying 'My Insurance Premium Is Due Immidiately' WHAT!!! CALL THEM BACK TO COMPLAINT~
They asked me over the phone 'why do I want to cancel it?'
Told them 'I'M AM WITH THE LIBERTY MUTUAL SINCE THE DAY I TOLD YOU TO CANCEL MY POLICY WITH YOUR FIRM, AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW INSURANCE COMPANY'

Then they tried to make all kind of excuses why they did what they did??? He then said my refund will be in mail within 7 days...Well, we see about that?

PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM PROGRESSIVE.COM, THEY ARE YOUR NIGHTMARE!
THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICES AND THEIR WEBSITE IS DEFECTED!
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WANT TO CANCEL YOUR POLICY, THEY WILL TRY THEIR BEST TO NOT TO REFUND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

PROGRESSIVE.COM YOU ARE RIP OFF!!!
