The purpose of this letter is to file a complaint against Express Consolidation Inc. a Florida based company, which happens to be a credit repair service. This company made fraudulent claims about the time frame that their program would allow me to pay off my existing debt. They claimed that in approximately 36 months I would be debt free. After 10 months in their program and paying approximately $6,300.00 in payments to this company, on most of the accounts that were originally consolidated, my balances are virtually unchanged, and on three accounts the balances are actually higher than when I joined their program. It became clear to me in August 2003 that this company could not deliver on it's promises because on three separate occasions this company made payments late to my creditors which resulted in even more charge being posted to my accounts.

The company also withheld the first check as part of their payment, the only thing this company did for me was to get me deeper in debt. Misrepresentations made by this company and by inept handling of my account that resulted in even more charges being posted to all of my accounts. This company definitely should repay all of the fees for the services that they charged me. I am also considering litigation to recover damages because they further strained relationships with my creditors, and hurt my ability to gain favorable concessions with my creditors after ceasing my relationship with them.

Please advise me on what I may do to recover fees or specific recourse under Florida law. In all, this company should return to me exactly $1,082.

It seems that this company has a predatory pattern of seeking to defraud the public, most of whom are desperate, (as I was) to fix their credit situation. If you are experienceing debt problems please do not contract with Express Consolidation as you will most likely have another large problem to deal with
