In August of 2002 my son was emancipated of which an order to terminate child support was issued. Child support enforcement then audited the support account and issued a refund of $466.00. On or about August of 2003 I received a collection notice for fees and interest on the child support account.

I then contacted CSE (Francis) of which stated I needed a letter from the custodial parent to discontinue. Yes discontinue payments I am not making and have a court order stating not to make! On September 19, 2003 it was verified by Nida at CSE they had received the verification letter from my ex-spouse and per Jesse Ybanez dept. would be resolved. Of course still received notices of fees and interest. Nothing about child support, just fees for the account and interest.

On January 8, 2004, Amy at CSE again verified the error would be taken care of. This is now June 25, 2004, and dept. still has not been resolved of which now there is a complete automated system, which disallows any verbal contact with a person. YES FEES FOR AN ACCOUNT THAT DOES NOT EXIST! This also shows up on my credit history.
