Ripoff Report Verified Safe

8/25/04 I went to the Regis Salon for highlights. I asked for bold blonde highlights. Hairstylist-Cierra looked at my hair w/another hairstylist and they noticed that the last time I had my hair highlighted (at Regis) the hairstylist (Ashley)had left a large area of the back of my hair untouched. There was a halo of brown, where highlights should have been. Cierra contacted her mngr (Lisa) to explain the situation, after a long conversation, Lisa said to give me 20% off my new highlights.

She took my hair to a very dark brown and then added highlights. The highlights were too brassy (instead of blonde) so Cierra put 2 toners on me for 45 minutes & her and the other hairstylist were saying how they 'could not believe how brassy the highlights were' and after being at the salon for 4 1/2 hours, they sent me home with an appointment card to come back on 8/27/04 for more highlights.

I called Lisa on 8/26/04 to let her know that I was not happy with my results. She reassured me that Cierra would take care of me at my appt the next day. On 8/27, I told Cierra that my hair looked awful and I needed my bright bold highlights that I had asked for. She did my hair and as she was drying it she said 'It's not the blonde that you were looking for, but it will lighten'.My hair is mostly a very dark brown with yellowish highlights that are only on the top of my head. I called Lisa and explained how unhappy I was. She offered to rehighlight it & I told her that was not an option, because my hair is damaged by all of the chemicals that have been put on it.

I called Regis Corp.to ask for a refund and Kirsten (Cust. Relations) said that policy was a 'Re-Do' or refund and since I had a re-do, I cannot have a refund. I explained to her how ruined my hair was by that 're-do' and she had little sympathy. I have tried 5 times to reach the Super. of Cust. Relations (Jan) and she has not returned any of my messages. I feel that I am entitled to a full refund and am being ignored.
