Boise, IdahoWe purchased credit card relief services from DRSM (affiliated with Debt Relief Services aka DRS) in February of 2004 for $2095. They advertise that their services will relieve the debt and repair your credit and they advertise a money back guarantee.
We have done everything that they have instructed us to do including arbitration at a cost of $150 per account (times 3 accounts), arbitration confirmation with a law firm in California, Estella Tan Bushnell (Michael Burgess) at $425 per account (times 3 accounts), plus $350 for summons support services that we did not receive.
After talking with DRS paralegal, we were informed by him that during the arbitration process we could not legally be sued due to the fact that we were in binding arbitration with the credit card companies.
However, we received 3 summonses and were instructed to call an attorney in Las Vegas that they claimed they had been working with. We did so and in order to talk to him we had to pay $100 only to have him tell us that he did not understand the legality of the argument that DRS was using. We then called DRS and were instructed by their staff attorney to hire a local attorney to fight the 3 summonses.
We have paid this attorney a total of $2000 to date and we are waiting for Michael Burgess to send us a copy of the arbitration confirmations in Federal Court. We were informed by Mr. Burgess in November that the amount DRS instructed us to send for consideration was not substantial enough and that he didn't think that they would be confirmed. We then notified DRS staff attorney and told him what Mr. Burgess said and he replied “It should work, in theory." We don't remember paying for theories.
We have continually called and emailed DRSM and DRS to voice our concerns and objections and have received little to no response. We feel that DRSM's presentation of the services were exaggerated and over-promised and as a result we are in the same situation as before only we are out approximately $6,260 that we could have used to negotiate the debt.

Ben E from Boise IDA did not purchase a debt elimination service from DRSM, He purchased Litigation relief, Summons assistance, He went though the debt elimination process with another company named Debt Solution International, there process did not work and Mr. Ben E got sued and came to us for help, He knew our track record was incredible in the area of helping the CONSUMER, and that we had a high success rate at
helping victims from other Debt companies. And we still have a high SUCCESS Rate.
Ben E did not do what he was Instructed to do by the DRSM legal dept, We were still able to direct Ben E in getting all his arbitration awards, despite where DSI, Ben Es previous Debt Co had failed.
The law firm in California, Estella Tan Bushnell (Michael Burgess) Is still working on the judicial conformations for Ben E, Mr Burgess found out he had cancer and was out of commision, and was put in the hospital for 8 weeks, That caused a little slow down, God forbid someone get sick, The law firm is still working to get Ben E his conformations.
Bens Attorney also received all the summons support that she asked for, as a matter of fact his attorney still has access to the DRSM legal staff. We at DRSM did not drop Ben E, Ben E, you seem to have troubles telling the truth.
Legally you cant be sued, Ben E you know as well as I do that there is a blatant disregard for the law in this country by many judges and attorneys. We cannot control those things. That was very clear in the summons package docs you signed, it was clear that we had no control over those types of circumstances, Would you like me to post a signed copy of your docs?
Ben E There you go stretching the truth again, The Attorney In Las Vegas that you spoke about in your complaint has just recently had a HUGE WIN with a case just like yours, yes it was dropped, another one of DRSMs Summons only CONSUMERS WIN BIG, Maybe if you had not been so demanding of this attorney he would have worked for you also, Attitude buddy.
You came to us with several accounts that were already in litigation, or headed for litigation, from the failing company DSI that you started your DEBT Elimination process with, a year before coming to us.
It was very clear in your litigation quote Ben E the locating of an attorney was your responsibility,And we would assist if you were unable to locate an attorney on your own. and you were to pay for that attorney,what DRSM was going to do for you was very clearly spelled outto you in your contract, You came to us with litigation issues, would you like me to post your signed agreement showing what you agreed to? and what you paid for?
Ben E The law firm of Mr. Burgess is still working on your behalf, This is not burger king, you do not get it your way, these kind of things take time, and there are sometimes hurdles to overcome that are out of your control, and ours. Be patient. Stop expecting everyone to perform miracles overnight.
Ben E, there you go stretching the truth again, you need to stop that, you are border line compulsive at that, you have everyone of DRSM/DRS contact numbers, and email address, you could not look me in the eye and say I have not contacted you within at least 24 hours of you leaving me a message, I have jumped through hoops and hurdles to assist you in whatever way possible, and anyone who knows me knows that is the kind of person I,am. You know our customer service on this end is awesome.
Exaggerated and over-promised? Ben E you are digging for bones, you only paid DRSM $2095....there you go stretching the truth again. At the top of the page you state in your own words that you paid DRSM $2095, Now at the bottom of the page the figure grew to $6260 How much did you pay Ben E? Since you cant keep your stories straight would you like me to post your payment reciept to DRSM also? That way America can see the TRUE facts.
Not to mention Ben E, you never even ask for a refund, I would think if you had evidence, and a solid claim, or you felt that you were wronged, or harmed in any way you would have requested a refund, wouldnt you? For you to not even ask for a refund says alot about your false claims against DRSM, It also says alot about you.
