I have received emails to my company's info email notifying me that I have won the Euro Lottery/Punch Promotional Award International for one million euro. Having searched the net, I finally found information regarding these fake euro lotteries relating to the Nigerian scams.

The first email is as follows:

EURO LOTTERY PROMOTION.
REF NUMBER: EUCL/892/9673/0065.
BATCH NUMBER: 252976EUCL0065.
CODE NUMBER:00000000EUCL878456.
Dear Sir/Madam
We are pleased to inform you of the result of the lucky winners of the INTERNATIONAL EURO LOTTERY PROMTION PROGRAM held on the 15th April, 2005. Your e-mail address is attached to ticket number 53455668899EULl59 with serial number 7646972EULl945 which drew lucky numbers 12-17-19-21-23-29 and consequently won in the 1st category.
You have been approved as the beneficiary for a lump individual payout of ($1,500,000,00. USD) one Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars.

Based on our guidelines, regulations and privacy policy, we strongly advice that you should keep your winning information confidential until your file for your claim and the subsequent processing concluded.

It's worthy of note, that all participants were selected through a computer ballot system drawn from all over the world. This EURO LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION PROGRAM takes place every three years.

Then I received this email:

The is to remind you that your refusal to claim your winning will result to disqualifying your prize and re-allocate it to charity organisation and this is because a form was sent to you that you were surpose to fill and send back to this office for verification of you winning
before refering you to the paying bank that will transfer the funds into your nominated bank account of your choice but you refuse to fill in the form and send back to us.

Please we want you to send a letter that you are not interested in claiming your prize so that the Eurolottery Department will have the full authority to reallocate your winning without wasting time.
