'Fashion Rock' , soon to be 'Talent Rock',is a waste of time. Unless you have 1,200 just sitting around, I wouldn't suggest going! I went with a positive attitude, hoping to win or be dicovered. What everyone says is true, 90% of your 3 day saty is hurry up and wait, hurry up and wait!

I brought my Mom and my 8 year old daughter as guests , thinking it would be a nice getaway. The trip was mentally and physically exausting! The average sleep per night was 5 hours if you were lucky. The have partys untill 2 a.m, the you are expected to get up at 6 a.m. to stand in line for breakfast( which was only boiled eggs and bagels, no fruit or meat!)

As I was in line to talk to the So called talent scouts, I noticed 2 of them carrying a stack of comp cards and portfolios. So I followed them , they proceeded to the lobby bar (they were talent scouts from Acme acting agency, I later found out) ,they were sitiing with 2 pretty girls. I didn't know if they were guests or competing.

Either way their conduct was so shocking! They sat with the girls( which I found out later were talent) and looked through all of the talent and I qoute' This is crap, I'm a professional, what am I suppossed to do with this'? And it went on and on from there. There were contastants all around that saw. I feel it's my job to step up to plate and say something. I later talked to the head of human resources for Fashion rock and she assured me it wouldn't happen again, but are you ready to take her word?
