killeen, TexasI have frist hand knowledge of how Aramark is in most of the schools and jails. I have noticed that they cheat. We give the inmates and juvnilles milk with thier meals.
Sometimes they don't want the milk and it is returned to the kitchen. I was told each half pint carton cost about 16 cents each. But when the milk is returned to the kitchen, it is returned to the fridge and sent out again on another meal.
It is charged everytime it goes out of the kitchen the same 16 cents. In other words the county or state and tax payers are paying for things they only think they are getting. I am sure there are more products in which Aramark does this with but only the ones that have worked for the company know.

Milk Concern
In the Correctional setting ARAMARK charges not by the item but by the number of inmates fed. If 800 inmates receive trays then the amount charged is 800 times the cost per tray listed in the contract. If an inmate refuses his or her milk, they still eat the rest of their meal, and hence are considered 'fed'.
There is nothing wrong with placing the returned milk back into the fridge and using it for a different meal as long as the milk's temperature did not reach into the danger zone (above 40 degrees F). If the milk became warm then it would become a safety hazard.
To insinuate that ARAMARK is practicing inappropriate billing over this practice is inaccurate. I must admit that this never occered at the facility I was at because the inmates always drank their milk, or gave it to someone else if they did not want it. However, barring any temperature issues, ARAMARK would be well within their contractual rights to reuse the milk instead of simply throwing it away.

I know that ARAMARK CORP. WANTS to pretend they are a 11 billion dollar corp. Yes in the books and maybe in the Wall Street but in reality here is the truth about these people. ONE they make billions by paying CRACK HEADS WHOM they call MANAGERS! HERE IS MY STORY. I worked for these people 3 long years of my life as an executive chef with 26 years of experience on my belt I starded AT 10 DOLLARS an hour after two in half years of killing my self to these slave drivers crack heads AS THEY CALL THEM SELFS THE GOOD OLD BOY RED NECK CLUB I was given a raise that put me at 13 dollars because i threat to leave them and since i was the slave that kept them the contract which generated over 3 million and the client was crazy about me because i am a local celebrity chef in this area and have lotsssss of connections with city and state leaders and the community they really dind have a chance do to the contract was up for bidding it really was in they best interest to simply putt-it KISS MY ASS or else.SO now let me tell you JARETwhos balls are you sucking and HOWmuch are they paying you because the matter of the FACTS is that ARAMARK dont give a them about their CLIENTS or COSTUMERS thats why they just LOST THREE CONTRACTS IN VIRGINIA 1.VIRGINIA BEACH AQUARIUM &MARINE SCIENCE HA!!!HA!!!HA!!!! WHEN your EMPLOYEES CALLED HUMAN RESOUCES and reported to you that YES your CRACK HEAD GM BRIAN STATON had brough HIS tird world HORE LEISLA INTERIANO TO BE HIS ASST. GM and could not speak any English and was INTERFERING with the BIZ and that was the CLIENT yes your CLIENT ARAMARK what did you did about you had that HORE fired every one and the ones that she could not fire HER PIMP BRIAN made their lives a living HELL so they had no choice but to leave they job. ARE you ready for number two ARAMARK here it is WHY ho WHY????DID you LOOSE the VIRGINIA CONVENTION CENTER ho exacly the same time last year as I recalled was wonce again because of your disfunctional management wonce again married man fucking yang employees and what about the NAUTICAS in NORFOLK VIRGINIA that you are PAYING them to be there but GM there has had multiple SEX-HARRASMENT complains HE still there even thoug you have NO rights to CATERING and very little sales on your so called Cafe WHY you dont post that some of your employees have over 150 costumer and client COMPLAINTS in one month AKA AZIA HAIGARD your so beloved cashier that dont only treats the clients and costumers like shit but comes to work when she wants to and clocks in to eat and make everyones life A LIVING HELL she has hit costumers and managers a like but to you she is worth 10 dollars an hour and GODS gift to ARAMARK the GOOD thing about you ARAMARK is this GOD DONT SLEEP AND THERE IS NOTHING LIKE MY GOOD OLD GIRL you know her KARMA HA!!!!HA!!!!HA!!!! as far as me NO i am NOT MAD & NO I wasent FIRED I QUIT AND HAVE NO REGRETS a lot of people told me i should be a SHAME of working for you but we ALL MAKE MISTAKES and i am not exempt from-it I will be looking for your REBUTTALL JARET AFTER YOU MY DERE.
