Ripoff Report Verified Safe

When I signed with Fun For Life and signed the contract, I gave $2075.00 as a deposit for the membership fee and was told that I had 10 days to cancel if I changed my mind. Within 2 days I decided to cancel and was told by Brian to Rush back all my contract papers to their office (I took copies) and they would fax me a waiver form to sign so that the cancellation would go through. I was later told that it shouldn't have been faxed to me and that I should have gone into the office to sign (I asked this before they fax it and was told no it was ok to fax)

When I faxed it back to Pamela with our signatures I wrote a note asking them to call me to confirm it was received, Pamela called me to say YES they received my fax waiver form within the 10 days and then my membership should be cancelled and I should get my deposit back.

Ya right, it wouldn't be that easy. Pamela said that Brian was handling my account and that my website that they make for you would be unactivated. till this day (June 19/07) it's still active and I've seen NO Money. I was then passed onto Cathy in accounting (she cuts the checks) she told me that I would have my check something the week of June 11th and that is was on Mr. Cecil Hendrix desk which is the owner.

Now if I had to come into the office and sign the waiver form then why would she say that the check was on his desk to be signed??? I spoke to Ursula in Accounting and she asked me to re-fax over the waiver form to her because conviently Pamela doesn't know where the original fax that she 'doesn't remember' receiving went to.

When I re-faxed it over to her, several times with confirmations that it went through, I requested that when she receives the fax to call me and sign and fax back to me stating that the fax was received. I never got a call but I left several messages for her. I call the reception desk and spoke to Rubie and she told me to re-fax it again (June 19/07) and she will give it to Ursula.

When I call Rubie back she told me she received the fax, and when I asked her to sign and fax it back to me as being received she REFUSED. she said that her word is good enough, I explained to her that that's when Pamela said and look where that got me. As of now I'm still waiting for Ursula to call me back. When you call this company you can never get a live person, excpet maybe the receptionist. You leave millions of messages and knowone ever calls you back. What kind of complany is this that they try to screw you over.
