I contacted Holly Profiles on 6/8/07 in response to a job ad. A person first greeted me by asking me some simple question to see if I was 'Eligible' for the job & said something along the lines of you need to have credit (or a credit card) for this & ask for my credit card number. I gave him my number he then started explaining the program, & then telling me about the charges (which I never heard about until this point). After he was done explaining the program he ask for the final four digits of my credit card number again to confirm this transaction: I DID NOT provided him with the final four digits again & I'm 100% sure , because in reaction to my uneasiness to confirm he started trying explaining all these benefits. He was relentless with convincing me to confirm, but I grew aggravated & hung up the phone. On June 15, I received the flyer in the mail from Hollywood profiles & I figured it was just an ad, but I would discover on July 10 it was welcoming new member letter. I discovered this after I checked my bank account & discover it was debited about $98. I immediately called them with my complaint & cancelled my account and asked for a refund. Hollywood profiles said my sales call has to go to compliance department and they would get back to me in two days. By this time was account was debited totaling $141.80 by them. They never called me back & I called again complaining about my issue and they said compliance said my sales call wasn't eligible for reimbursement, but they would forward it to the GM and he would call me in a couple days. They never called me back again, so I called them again and they said that' management is in agreement my money isn't refundable.' I also like to note during the time I NEVER even logged on to there database to use their service. So now I'm here warning all you Hollywoodprofiles and other atcor/actress database companies are Scams. Please help me spread the word to this unfair practice.
