Ripoff Report Verified Safe

Arbor Hospice was faced with the fact that certain patient had illegal social security numbers but admitted them to service anyway.

They also committed fraud when overcharging medicare for services and used employees who were with the company since 1999 as the fall guys.

They refuse to pay certain employees who were privy to this practice and then were fired. They refused to pay certain employees their last paycheck. They lied to Michigan unemployment falsifying documentation so they could avoid having to pay.

They concocted an agreement that stated upon ending of employment the employee would get their last paycheck when equipment is returned. However! When issue of paying last paycheck was pursued via governmental agencies (aka Wage and Hour division, unemployment agency, etc) Arbor lied to many governmental agencies about employees last days.

Arbor Hospice files false police reports containing lies upon lies to cover up their misdeeds. Lies about content, dates, etc.

All of these claims are backed up by clear documentation. Black and white lies.

They claim they need your donations and claim they are using donations for the sick and dying yet refuse many goods and services to the needy patients (i.e. incontinence briefs, etc.)

Where is your proof ?

You have made a lot of accusations. Show the proof. You wrote that every one of your charges are supported by clear documentation. Show the proof. Otherwise, you will just appear as a disgruntled ex-employee.

I agree

Where is your proof? If you think this agency is in the wrong contact your State Agency of Health and Human Services - If the facility is licensed by JCAHO then contact them as well
Until then do not make false reports unless you can backup your allegations

Why the urgent need for silence?

Even if the person making the claim contacts the said agencies, why not let it be known the type of company it is? That is exactly what this website is designed for. Maybe a bit nervous about the truth being known? Word getting out? People usually don't make such profound accusations then say they have proof unless there is at least some truth to what they are saying. People are aware they can be sued for liable and/or slander and I am sure this person is aware of it, yet no lawsuit. I wonder why? Why the desire to gag this person? Let them sound off. Unless you can't stand to hear the truth. There must be SOME validity to what this person is saying because I also found this when web surfing...

Billing for incorrect level of service cost state $205,000 News Staff Reporter

Arbor Hospice must reimburse the state Medicaid program $205,000 for billing some of its patient services at a higher rate than allowed in 2002 and 2003.

'There was a disagreement over the intensity of care the patient requires and whether the care provided satisfied Medicaid,' said Robert Asmussen, chairman of the nonprofit hospice board. He said the agency billed for the highest...

Once again

If there is 'fraud' going on within this agency then contact JCAHO and Health and Human Services - or you local agency pertaining to the elderly
I did my Social Work internship at a nursing home and have been through a State Audit and it was BRUTAL
If you are just trying to get back at the agency because you were terminated then your complaint is null and void

Rrtamtam = Marty = Blankdeurs ???

Thanks to 'Marty', it appears that this is more of a case of a disgruntled employee rather than a real RipOff.

http://ripoffreport.com/reports/0/308/RipOff0308805.htm

It just seems strange why this report and 2 others would be posted so close together in time, by 'different' users. It is even more strange that the beginning of each post is the same, word for word.

The only case all three of these people were able to reference is an article summary that says they had to pay back what was overcharged. Could this be considered fraud...Possibly, but then we do not have the entire article to understand the context of the lines of text that were pulled out. Does this substantiate any of the other alligations made..NO.

Attempt to discredit the messenger/posters to discredit the truthful message, oldest trick in the liars book

How pathetic! It is the oldest trick in the book for liars of all forms. Attempt to discredit and harass the messenger, or in this case, the posters, to attempt to minimize the damage caused by the truth coming out. Let's see....their next step will be attempting to get off the subject of their lies and on to something else....ANYTHING else!
