The Trump Institute (TI) is a total dump. I trusted the TI, because I had thought that such a highly recognized businessman would not scam people, or endorse anybody to use his name. I couldn't be more wrong. TI is a bunch of scammers, playing on people's feelings, sucking as much money as they can and deliver nothing.

I attended the "Trump Institute Way to Wealth Seminar" on November 18, 2007 at Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando. The first sign of thinking in TI as an unreliable source was a wrong address that I was provided. The seminar was NOT at Rosen Plaza, but Rosen Center, two miles down the International Dr. I emailed TI about the mistake; they did not even apologize for the troubles they made. TI offered a free book "Think like a billionaire," which they in fact either hid, or did not have, because any time people asked for the book, their answer was at the end of the seminar, and they did not distribute. I called several times the TI to send me the book, but they are saying that thy aleady sent, and I should have by now.

The first part of the seminar was about "Real Estate" but the second one was about tax lien certificates, which I opted for. The spokesman to gain peoples trust was talking about his way to riches, talking about Trump's ingenuity, and how TI will help with tax liens if we attend the seminar. To convince us, the presenter logged in their website, show several features such as colorful map of the United States, all with list of tax liens, that we can pick up if we invest, and also how TI will help us down the read if we have a chance to foreclose.

So stupid me, I paid almost $1,400 for the seminar hoping that I will be taught what I was just told. Among tons of kind of useless materials, I was provided a guidebook "A comprehensive Guide for Investing in Tax Lien Certificates through the U.S." The book of size 10 in. X 8.5 in is almost empty huge margins (top - 1.75 in, button 2 in, left 1 in. and right 4 in. OK right margin is not that wide but the remaining 3 inches are for notes for your convenience LOL). There are approximately 110 pages, but printed only on one side. Print 12 points, spacing 1.5. I calculated and the whole thick book would fit on 10 the same size pages, printed on each side. If this is whole Donald Trumps wisdom, then I don't know how he has built the whole empire.

Then, after three weeks I attended the two day workshop, presented by Donald R. Cote, hoping that I will be taught what was presented thee weeks earlier. Andnothing. Day one, Mr. Cote was talking how he was almost homeless and his way to riches. The afternoon was a sale's pitch. Instead of being taught about how to invest in tax lien as I had to listen to "Continuing education" discounted worshops ranging from 6k 13k (otherwise 8k -18k). The beautiful map with tax lien data, turned out to be for people who pay minimum $6, 000 to attend a seminar in Galveston Houston, TX. Of course, I did not buy that. I'd already had encountered so many disappointments; I was not going to pay that much for bigger disappointment. But this is not the end. Three weeks later someone named Daren called me and offered exclusive for me mentoring over the phone or as I call it "swimming lessons over the phone" for only $13,000. C'mon, if they couldn't teach me in person, how is going to change over the phone.

I want to warn you, not to invest with Trump Institute. I had to post my testimony because the whole seminar was worth maybe $50 at most.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the "Tax Lien Certificate". I have not been taught what I had been promised during the seminar. Be fair. Even when I called, and asked for money back, TI promised help. Instead, they wasted my valuable time by trying to sell me "coaching" over the phone. TI do not represent Donald Trump. You are a money sucking "Enron" like company.

How "Trump Institute" does not keep its word!

AUTHOR: Wes - (U.S.A.)

And one more detail... After the workshop, I was calling the "Trump Institute" for six consecutive months to send me the book "Think Like a Billionaire" they had promised to provide if we attend the workshop. Can you believe that finally they send a book "Unlimited Riches" by Robert Shemin as a substitute that is worth .01 dollar on amazon.com.

They are asking for thousands of dollars but they cannot even provide a book worth $20. Receiving a worthless book confirmed that the "Trump Institute" people are just a bunch on crooks and con artists.
