Santa Cruz, CaliforniaONE year ago, I bought an Arasys, over the phone. (I had tried the technology at a local salon that had the equipment. I was told how 'easy' it would be to begin my own home business and they would help me in any way I needed. I am NOT a massage therapist, nor do I work in the health care industry. They told me the equipment was for ANYONE to use.
My real problem is.... I need to sell the equipment, and they are now telling me I can't OR if I do, whoever I sell my machine to has to purchase an extended warranty that cost approximately 20% of the total cost of the machine. I paid over $23,000.00. on various credit cards and they want to charge my buyer an additional $7,000. to cover a new warranty on the machine.
How can they try to monopolize the after market sales? If their equipment does not require any specialized degree - Why is it so important to re issue a warranty? Why can't we just contact the name given to us in them manual for repair?
The Arasys Company did not pre qualifying with me nor did they tell me if I wanted to sell my equipment I would need to purchase an extended warranty. They just took my Credit Card number and sent out a machine. The undisclosed information on a sale is considered Fraud and someone needs to stand up to this company. I am a very unhappy consumer. I feel as though I was lied to under the veil of a bunch of scientific BS.
I have contacted an attorney asking him what our State laws are. Through my investigations I found the owner is in Hawaii, she works out of her house, and she has a clinical PHD in psychology.
If anyone has any more info that could be helpful to my case please respond.

Clarification of service and solidity of company
I am a Clinical Educator for Arasys Perfector and I am proud to say this is a solid company with amazing technology! I have helped in launching the Arasys, Perfector, & Ion Magnum technology in Las Vegas, NV and Los Angeles, CA. The products have been developed from the partnership of geniuses such as Dr. Weiss, Dr. Pollack, and Dr. Greenley. They have successfully been in operation in the UK for 14 years, here in the US since 2004.
I believe the team that has united to become Arasys Perfector LLC offers support, customer service, efficient training, and a system of pre-qualifying so the MedSpas and clinics that purchase the equipment can adequately perform treatments.
I hope the person that has filed this report can reach the right personnel to wrap up this issue without further delay.

Thank you for your opinion but you offer no solution to the issue. Your comments are self serving and do little to assist me in the financial ruin created by your team of 'genius' professionals. I would be more interested in a buy back program considering the machines sent to me where 'new'.

Usually when you take ownership of something, it becomes yours to dispose of as you wish....
but maybe your customer would need that 'extended warranty' to be permitted to mention 'The Arasys, Perfector, Forever Young USA, Perfector Arasys' etc. in any advertisements they may wish to use to generate business.... that 'extended warranty' is really a license to offer 'Arasys services', as it were. That is, the original seller retains all rights to all uses of their company's and product's names. These are really two different questions....
I really do not see a solution that you would accept as a 'solution' to your situation....
B/t/w used equipment is usually worth 50% of new..... unless there is an active established market that proves otherwise, such as there is for most used cars. But back in the early 1980's, Citroen products used to depreciate 50% a year because... there was essentially no active market for used Citroen products!
So your machine that had cost you $23,000 'new' might now sell 'used' for $12,000. After all, your 'customer' can always buy a BRAND NEW, LATEST & GREATEST UNIT for $23,000. And they get a new-unit warranty!
Next time, do better research before you invest. A LOT better.... and believe NO ONE. As my FIL once said, 'don't trust anybody'. Or as my mother once told me so many, many years ago, 'don't judge a book by its cover!'

Dr. Weiss is finally being found out. She just did a trade show. It was considered by one person to be 'a joke.' In my opinion, supported by months of experiencing the set up 'hyping' and after show 'lead harversting' these trade shows, and this company is one big pseudo-scientific CIRCUS. Your host under this big-top is the hot tempered, Greek immigrant ZsaZsa Gabor Wannabe: Dr.. Xanya... Sooooooofraaaaaa-Weeeiiiiisss....
I would probably be accused of her of sounding ridiculous and 'acting erratically' for that statement, because frankly, verbal degradation based on nothing but her insecurities and lies is all she has to combat the fact that I know everything about her, inside and out, and she screwed me (so far) out of a lot of money that I'm rightfully owed.
Anyhow, this is the circus that a handful of GOOD people across America have been suckered into believing. When I once asked Xanya for training material on the technology? How it works? STUDIES that would convince prospective buyers (who I was tasked with finding and selling to) that this technology REALLY IS SUPERIOR to other microcurrent technology readily available from REPUTABLE companies for considerably less money? There was nothing. Other than articles she wrote under fake aliases for beauty magazines... And studies about her technology based ENTIRELY on citations from other research articles written THIRTY YEARS AGO that are scientifically valid, but COMPLETELY UNRELATED to the Arasys or the Perfector machine!!!
The book she told me about to read to help my sales is called 'Biology of Belief' which is basically about how to BRAINWASH people by impressing them through lies and sensationalism. The end result is that she wants us to be impressed by HER!! When I tried to create marketing materials that weren't centered on her, she lost her mind and threatened to fire me. Why? Because she's narcissistic. She thinks the best way to sell the technology is through selling herself. That's why her marketing material, website and even POSTERS at the trade shows have images all over it.
This woman tries to impress you with her scientific knowledge, show you before and after pictures DOCTORED with Adobe Photoshop by former employees, and then CLOSE THE SALE on the 37,000 dollar Arasys or the 19,000 dollar perfector by offering you a DEAL on the spot. 30% off!! Wow, I can get this great machine for 23,000 dollars? OK!
And then you get it. And then the promises start being broken. Calls aren't returned. The training is inadequate, you can't ever get results like SHE (the director of research and training) achieves at trade shows (because it works in ten minutes... and then DISAPPEARS two hours later when you're off-stage).
I hope you're all getting the picture here, this is the basic jist of how her organization works. You send her tens of thousands of dollars for a bunch of hype and pretty graphics and big words. And what do you get? Non-existent customer service driven by a policy of using psychological analysis (she's a licensed psychologist in Hawaii with two registered complaints) to belittle real people who aren't getting the results they were promised at the time of purchase.
And then they end up posting ripoff reports and trying to get out of these deals. The problem everyone, is that you CAN'T. The deal is, no refund, no exchange, and if you're having a problem with your machines? There's something wrong with YOU.
Sounds familiar huh? I'm not on drugs as she claims (and probably will again in response to this). Look only to the fact that my writing is honest, carefully crafted and my story is well corroborated both here and through other posts online. If I was on crack, or anything else, would I even be able to competently operate a computer? Come on people.
Dr. Weiss has been getting away from this too long. She thinks she's going to take over the world, and furthermore, that she's doing everyone some kind of service. The only one who really benefits from Dr. Weiss's science is Dr. Weiss! And of course, the salesperson who takes your commission. I know I'm not driving a mercedes benz and spending thousands at Bebe and Costco every week!!
Don't listen to what she posts. To the employee, do yourself a favor - don't get too sucked in. This company is going down, and you - like I was - are innocent here. Unless of course, you help perpetuate her lies to pay your own mortgage.

Lets, face it, Billy, you lost the biggest opportunity of your life by getting yourself fired from Arasys Perfector LLC, because nobody can be as kind as Dr Weiss who kept you working even though no other employee liked you. Naomi refers to you as 'Billy the Poisonous Snake', Angela kept referring to you as a 'bad hire,' Garth thinks you are dangerous to yourself and others, Connan calls you the 'drug addict -- he's so lost,' Erica and Lizzy could not stand you especially after you started talking behind their back and I am bothered when I have to give you the time of the day because I think you are simply incompetent and a pathological liar. You lie so much you cannot tell the difference between what is true and what is a lie, you probably lie to yourself, thinking that Dr. Weiss did something wrong by firing you. Arasys Perfector LLC has no complaints from customers. However, an ex-employee of Arasys Perfector LLC who was fired for coming to work high, intoxicated and not doing his job keeps posting nasty comments and complaints under different names such as Mr. Fedup or Someone in California. People who have complaints identify themselves or call the company. All of these reports come from one person who happens to be a drug addict and presently unemployed because nobody will hire him. I am the person being spoken about here, and I can say with confidence that I have only responded to the many recent posts that are exposing the truth about Dr. Xanya Sofra Weiss. I am not on drugs, I am more competent than Dr. Weiss herself, and that's why she fired me. The woman is insane and has been arrested recently for assault. This is public record.
Her business is under federal investigation for labor law violations and I am assisting several dissatisfied customers across the country with a class action lawsuit against her, as well as a personal suit to collect STILL unpaid wages.
So as not to give her anything she can use against me, I will not discuss the reason I have not yet found FULL time employment. You see, I WON my unemployment case, and now my weekly benefit of over 500 dollars is paid right out of Dr. Weiss's pocket!!! She must be incredibly angry, and I'm sure that's making her so upset that all she does is sit in her little Kalama Valley house with her 7 dogs and keep posting ripoff reports, hoping that someone will believe her over me.
What sounds more logical to you? Is EVERYONE else a crazy liar? Or is it simply, Dr. Xanya Sofra Weiss trying to cover her own ass, YET again. I report, you decide. I think the most ironic part of all of this is that my unemployment money is really helping me put my life back together again after what Xanya tried to do to personally ruin me. Soon, I'll have a reliable car, my own place, and a deposit for a competitive microcurrent machine that puts her Perfector machine to shame.
I'm going to sell it right here, in her own backyard. And all the while, I'm working to put an end to her business, her livelihood, and her reputation. Just as she has attempted to do to other honest individuals for years and years. She's tried to discredit me, intimidate me, call the police to say I'm somehow 'harassing' her (totally not true) and even call me names to get me to stop and 'leave her alone.'
I won't leave this issue alone. I will not break the law, or extort or harass anyone. I will use the systems put in place by our society to deal with scourges such as herself and her sad excuse for an international business. She is going down, and I'll be right there helping to push her over.

Extended Warranties
Very few warranties across many industries are transferrable and many companies have the same or similar policies of requiring a warranty be purchased for it to be extended to the buyer of used equipment. If you buy a used car from an individual, do you get a warranty? Not usually, although sometimes companies use the gimmick of an extended warranty to make the sale happen only to find out later that they are very limited or of no actual value. Sometimes, if you buy a used car at a used car lot, you will get a warranty, however, it is warrantied by the seller of the used car and not the original dealer. How many times have you purchased a piece of equipment, appliance, TV or Stereo and have the Sales People immediately try to sell you and extended warranty? Often I bet and that is before you have even bought the piece of equipment.

Here is my original ripoff report that I submitted early 2007:
Beware when doing business with this company. My wife and I are spa owners here in San Diego, CA. We visited 'Dr.' Xanya Weiss in Newport Beach, CA to see a demo of the Arasys Perfector that she was giving at a hotel there. My wife and I left with mixed feelings of both the effectiveness of the unit, and the personnel that were representing the product. But nonetheless we invested in it and added it to our list of services that our spa offers.
That is where the problems began.
We bought the machine for a 'sale price' of $12,000. They said that it originally listed for $17,000 and we needed to buy it before the end of the month, as the 'sale' was going to end. Anyways, we decided to purchase it by giving half down, and $970.00 a month interest free for 6 months. The initial contract we were faxed from Hawaii had us paying thousands more than what we initially had agreed.
I pointed the error out to them and they acknowledged it and recalculated the numbers. This time they sent a second contract to us, and it was also wrong. I called them and expressed my concern over their ability to 'get things right' with this deal, and was met with a calming, reassuring, not to worry 'Dr.' Xanya Weiss.
Okay, I gave them another chance.
They finally got the contract right, and we received our machine a couple of weeks after.
A couple of week after receiving our machine, we received an 'upgraded' model and was instructed to send the old one back to Suffolk, England. We did so without delay.
But we were never given any specific instructions on how to send the machine back to England. So with me not wanting to take any chances, I declared the value at $12,000 (what it would have costed me if something had happened to it in shipping). Well customs had issues with the declared cost of the unit being so high and we could not ship it as they had instructed us to do so.
We then took the old unit back home and waited for further instructions from Arasys Perfector people in Hawaii. It took them like 2 weeks to even get us the example that they wanted us to use to ship the unit.
They instructed us to declare the value as damaged goods, and the value to be at $1.
So we complied and shipped the unit off. After a few weeks we received numerous calls from a girl with no tact named Erica at Perfector, who seemed a little peeved with us asking why we haven't returned the old Perfector machine. We explained to her that we had shipped it weeks ago and didn't appreciate her tone with us.
I then asked her if she even bothered to have looked up the FedEx Tracking Number on the package to see where it is, she admitted that she just started working there and someone had misplaced it. I provided it to her again and sat on the phone with her as she looked it up, and sure enough. it had been signed for in Suffolk, England. She told me that apparently the Perfector people in England all took the day off and didn't report it to them, so she was never able to confirm delivery of the unit with them. SO INSTEAD SHE CALLS US GOING OFF ON US AS TO WHERE THE UNIT WAS, LIKE WE WERE CRIMINALS?!?!
At this point I had never received a 'statement' or 'account billing history' or anything from them acknowledging payment owed, payments made, etc.
Then we have the payment issues.
After them successfully receiving two of my electronic web bill pay payments, they stated that the second payment was late, and that the third payment was NEVER received. I looked on my web bill pay that is directly through my bank, and it confirmed that all payments had been made on time, and had been cleared through my account. Meaning someone named Perfector USA that lives at their address cashed my checks, but they were saying that they did not receive payment. My bank did not have the traditional 'paid check copy' because it was an electronic ACH transaction, and I had them document that fact in a memo from two different bank employee's that indicated the routing number that the funds went to, and the trace number of the transaction, yet Perfector STILL said that they never got the payment.
I then demanded to talk to the company's CEO (as listed on their website, and as was introduced to me) 'Dr.' Xanya Weiss. She then got on the phone and was at it again, smoothing things over, telling me to relax and that she knows me and knows that I am a good person, and that everything is going to be alright. etc. etc. But all the while not taking any responsibility or ownership for her companies obvious mistakes in their dealings with me. She said that she was going to take it up with her bank and get back to me. 'Not to worry' she said.
Well after a week of not hearing back from her I started to assume that everything was okay and that they corrected the problem with their bank. Instead I get an e-mail from one of their employee's that stated:
Good afternoon Mr. Jason,
How are you? I hope you are well. It has been some time since we have spoken last, I understand that on or before the 17th of this month you had a conversation with Dr. Weiss and have cancelled your check and are
investigating it with your bank and sending another payment. We received it today! Fantastic! Its unfortunate we had to deal with all of these
inconsistencies on the banks' part, and I hope our reputation and relationship has not been permanently damaged by the banks' mistakes.
I'm just checking in to make sure everything is cleared up on your part also and that you are well. Take care, I look forward to hearing from you. Just for a full circle followup I am going to have our Director of
Quality Assurance get in touch with you, her name is Mary Mallozzi.

So I guess that was their way of saying 'Well

Oh one more. I especially liked how their representative Erica would e-mail and call NUMEROUS times to remind us that our bill would be coming up. LIKE A FREAKING DEBT COLLECTOR!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE ON A BILL IN MY LIFE AND NOW I HAVE THIS WOMAN CONSTANTLY REMINDING EVERY MONTH?!?! I even asked her to stop, and that I had impeccable credit. What did she do the very next month? The exact same thing!

I STAND BY MY WORDS AND WILL SWEAR BY THEM. We are now taking the 'Perfector' off of our list of services at the spa due to more and more clients questioning its effectiveness. And unless someone wants to purchase this overpriced mechanical voltage machine....then I guess we are out $15,000.00, not to mention the amount of business lost because of peoples lack of confidence in the business due to the ineffectiveness of the Perfector to do as it is claimed and marketed that it will do. Basically....there is not miracle cure with aging other than drinking plenty of water, get periodical facials, use sunscreen with moisturizer, and eat healthy. That pretty much sums it up. We should have never fallen for this 'snake oil' pitch. Lesson learned....lesson learned (albeit a hard one).

Note for Jason about your perfector
Hi Jason
I am curious, did you get the nano upgrade? What you should do is have your perfector checked like I did by A-1 Engineering. They have informed me that they have tested many perfectors across the states and found that there are machines that claim to be upgraded that have not. Only changed the face panel. A-1 will do it for free and they are close to you. They also provide service for the Arasys. They have all the specifications. They have also informed me that the perfector is not capable of functioning at such low levels and you are better off not getting the upgrade. A-1 has some great products and you will be back in business in no time flat. See their web site www.a1engineeringusa.com.

I'm not saying if I am or ever have been an employee or not. My intent here is to remain anonymous as I am familiar with Xanya Weiss' and her staff's unstable personalities. I know that she and her staff have no trouble lying or under-delivering and trying to just weasel out of it. I also know that they have an employee whose main job is basically to be a pit bull throwing around threats and making hard sells but I am not willing to mention his/her name on a bulletin board unless I have to. I am willing to say that I've used the products and they are worthless. They are very nice looking but cheaply built and they are really expensive! They actually sell a product that retails for over $64,000! That indicates fraud to me. Any company run like this with a product at that price is a scam. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever seen. They go through employees like toilet paper and I can see why. Dr. Weiss is very charismatic when she turns on the juice. But ask her technical questions about the product and all you get are vague, really impressive technical sounding explanations to the lay person that simply would not get past an electrical engineer or biologist. This will always be the case no matter how much she studies up because the technology in these machines is nothing special at all and will never produce the miracles they promise. And they do promise miracles. I really really doubt she has had much time in a research lab. Arasys and Ion Magnum and whatever other items they are selling are super expensive bunk being hocked by used car con-artists. I don't doubt that this company has a lot of disgruntled employees/ex-employees and I can see why and I would pay attention to their accusations.

I also know that they have an employee whose main job is basically to be a pit bull throwing around threats and making hard sells but I am not willing to mention his/her name on a bulletin board unless I have to. I am willing to say that I've used the products and they are worthless. They are very nice looking but cheaply built and they are really expensive! They actually sell a product that retails for over $64,000! That indicates fraud to me. Any company run like this with a product at that price is a scam. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever seen. They go through employees like toilet paper and I can see why. Dr. Weiss is very charismatic when she turns on the juice. But ask her technical questions about the product and all you get are vague, really impressive technical sounding explanations to the lay person that simply would not get past an electrical engineer or biologist. This will always be the case no matter how much she studies up because the technology in these machines is nothing special at all and will never produce the miracles they promise. And they do promise miracles. I really really doubt she has had much time in a research lab. Arasys and Ion Magnum and whatever other items they are selling are super expensive bunk being hocked by used car con-artists. I don't doubt that this company has a lot of disgruntled employees/ex-employees and I can see why and I would pay attention to their accusations. I know first-hand that what William is saying is true. Believe it. Believe it all...

I am an ex-employee of this company and just wanted to check up to see really how well they were doing these days compared to what they're telling people. I worked for the company from Nov. of 2006 until July of 2007. I was physically assaulted by the owner Dr. Xanya Sofra-Weiss and have no problem letting people know how she really is.. No the product is not what she makes it out to be.. and yes she sells it for more than 5 times what she buys it.. but there is more to it.. the customers who said they got an upgrade.. no most likely you did not.. and I know this why.. because I was the person who ran the shipping department.. I knew what came in and out of that office and what most of you got was old perfectors sent to England worked on and sent onto you. Some of you didn't even get the original one. To Jason who wrote about me.. I apologize.. it was my job, I needed the money and couldn't afford to lose my job, and I was under her 'power' so to speak because I knew what she was capible of. I later found it out on my own obviously.. I am sorry I was rude to you and your wife, I remember the situation and conversations with you on the phone like they were yesterday, but what others need to understand is you weren't all nice and peachy keene either and that's why I was pissed.. you were an officer of the Navy if I remember correctly and you treated me like shit.. my husband being a Marine.. I know no matter whether you have that uniform on or not.. you do not speak to someone the way you did me.. so should've reacted the way I did.. no.. but you shouldn't never spoke down to me like I was one of your lower rankings. Back to the company.. they will probably see this.. say I am crazy and I am on something also.. or i was depressed or some alligation about me.. but I was not.. I was just physically, mentally, and emotionally abused by the owner and so I have every right to be against them.. Billy.. yes he was 'supposedly' caught on something one day.. and did I get along with him while we worked together.. No.. but.. we have since then talked and right after he got fired and away from that company.. he immediately called me to see how i was going.. I am still in contact with almost a half of dozen ex-employees from there who will all tell you the same thing about Xanya and her company.. I was denied unemployment after she physically assaulted me but luckily found a great job there after that I have been working with for well over a year now. I can't wait to move off this island soon, but one think I can say.. her and the way she treated not only me but other employees will always be with him.. she's horrible. And if that gives her satisfaction so be it.. but she's sick..and one more thing.. the picture on there website of the girl's stomach area that has a greenish color tank top and black bottoms with a black tattoo on the right.. yup.. that's me.. in the larger photo I am blowing out ym stomach and on the smaller one I was sucking it in.. not just that.. but they were both edited by another ex-employee that would be more than happy to admitt it to you also!

P.S. Jonathan is not Jonathan.. it is Xanya or her patient Connan putting Jonathan's name down because they are too scared to put there own.. Especially Xanya whom gets the cops called on her weekly by her neighbors and her car vandalized a few times a year because not even her neighbors what her around..
