Another story of Tracy Fields ripping off someone. Car was there (in two different shops after he ran from his second location to his third on Buckingham in Garland) for two years. Paid Tracy up front for parts to be ordered- $4,300. A year later he called and said the car would need a carburetor and I authorized him to charge my credit card in the amount of $500 for the carb and valve covers. He charged the card for that and proceeded to charge my card every week and a half or so for $400-500 each time for a total of $2,750 on my card. I noticed it, went and confronted him and he said he would issue a credit to my card for the charges. 'I don't know why it was doing that' he said- like the machine was charging my card on its own. After no credit I went back to demand it and again was told he would credit the charges immediately- never happened. The car is in worse shape then when I left it with him and the carberator and valve covers were missing as an added bonus. He ripped me off for $7,050 plus two years time and additional damage to my car. No telling what other parts were stolen from it and sold by Tracy, I have to get to that later when I have time to do the full inspection on the car.

In two years I got exactly two calls from him- one for my credit card number for the parts and one early this week telling me that he was broke and going out of business.

Just picked up my car today, no Tracy Fields to be found. There are still three cars in his shop and if they are yours you better go and get them as he has vacated.

Garland Police should file fraud charges and theft charges on him to be certain. I will make contact with them on that subject.

The address above is his home address pulled from available online sources. I am sure that he will be running from there as well as he probably doesn't have any more victims credit cards to charge and steal the money and make the payments.
