Gillicece Plumbing Heating,cooling And Electrical,inc Sewer cleaning rip off!!! Bethal Park Pennsylvania

On May/09/08 I called this company for a sewer cleaning. They've advertised on television about thier 99.00 cleaning. They came on time may/11th/08. My mother let them in, because I wasn't home. I called to ask if they were done estimating, and spoke with one of the men. They said that since my house was old, I can't get the 99.00 job, but instead they have to do a 980.00 job! I say give me a few weeks. They say ok.


After I gathered up the money, (it took a while because I had other major repairs to do on this old fixer upper) I called and made an appointment for the june/1st/08. Again he was ontime and polite. He took less then an hour to finish the job. After he told me the job was completed and the sewer should be clear by morning and if it wasn't completely clear, to call and he'll come right back out.

The morning came and the basement was still flooded, so I called. They scheduled me for the next day between 12pm-4m, no one showed. I called , they apologized and said they are late. I had to leave for work so they scheduled me for the next day between 12pm-4pm. No one showed. I called, they apologized and said it was a schedualing error. They scheduled me for the next day. I told them I wouldn't be home but since my basement is detatched fro my house i left the basement door unlocke d for them. (they had no access to my home)

I come home to see a card on my door it says, and I quote"Samantha Please call our office in the morning for a camera inspection from a supervisor, you are partly open, thanks, Rich"

I called the next morning. The receptionist Sue transfers me over to on of the managers. He tells me that Ray will come out and do a camera inspection. Again I leave the basement available to them. I come home , and check my voicemail. It's Rick on the message saying that the sewer is too clogged to clean and it needs and exscavation.

Well, I'm pissed because That's what and evaluation and estimate is for, to know what's wrong and how to fix it. However, i call the next day. No answer. The day after one of the managers call me and says Rick will call me to say what all needs to be done. Rick calls and tells me that He needs to exscavate the base of my pipe and it will cost 4995.00!! Just for the Base!!! I ask him "what about my 900.00 i gave you guys? Will that be absorbed into the price? Rick says no. This is additional. Well, I said but you haven't cleaned the sewer and that's what i ordered. i understand that you can't do it and you did try. So please give me half of my money since you've only done half the work. Or absorb that into the price of 4995.00. He (bing a supervisor) Tells me that he doesnt have the authority to do so, and that I should call the manager.

I've been calling for three days now, and the only person i talk to is sue and she always says the manager isn't in and she will give him the message.

I'm thinking od sueing (lol)
