Ticketbust.com is a total scam! They couldn't even get my address right! But I think that is all part of their scam to not have to honor their money back guarantee. First of all, they charge you $250 to file a Trial by Declaration and all they do is site the penal codes (that the judge already knows) that relate to your ticket and then ask for traffic school. The idiots didn't even take the time to ask me if I had already completed traffic school in the last 18 months (which I had) or to check the requirements for traffic school in the county where I received the ticket. (Kern County requires that you do not exceed 20 mph over the limit to be eligible for traffic school and my ticket was for going 99 mph in a 70 mph zone.)

As for the content of the Trial by Declaration, it was like reading the penal code straight out of a book. I read the officers Trial by Declaration and it had all the same penal codes with a little check box next to them where he checked 'Yes, I did that!' for all the penal codes that where mentioned in Ticketbust.com's Trial by Declaration.

Furthermore, Ticketbust.com (who is actually just 2 guys and a secretary from the best I can tell) could not even get my address correct on the Trial by Declaration. I entered my address correctly when I signed up on their website and when I contacted them they confirmed that it was correct in their records. But on the Trial by Declaration they filed with the court it was typed incorrectly. Not completely incorrect just enough so that I wouldn't get the court decision documents in time to qualify for the money back guarantee. They got my street address and apartment number correct, but then put my street name as the city and the zip code for that city (which suspiciously had all the same digits as my correct zip code except one and in a different order).

I think all this was to intentionally prolong the delivery of the court decision documents and ultimately make it so that I would not qualify for the money back guarantee. Personally, I think I deserve a complete refund for the entire $250 since not only was the ticket not dismissed or reduced, but the forms where not even filed with my correct address. If these idiots can't even get something as simple as a city and zip code correct, what makes you think that they would be competent enough to get your traffic ticket dismissed or reduced?

Ticketbust.com is a scam! You would have better luck paying 3 monkeys to file your Trial by Declaration. And the best part would be that you would only be out a bushel of bananas when it didn't work instead of 250 bucks!
