brantford, OntarioMy husband and l called centennial windows for a quote on a new front door, with a sidelight and transom total ripout. Brian jones came to our house for the quote on February 16,2008. We hired them to do the job, they guaranted to have the door installed in 60 days of the signed contract. the first time the guys came the transom was the wrong measurement, so they finally installed the door on May, 1 2008.
After the guys installed the door l noticed the capping was all scratched and marked up plus the door was the same way plus it was all warped. The caulking job was no better, it look like something a guy off the street would do with no experience. Shorty after our door starting leak every time it rained,we called and complained, they said there was nothing they could do because the door was warped and it would take 2 weeks to came in(it took 4 weeks).
We phoned every day almost and spoke to Mat and Don Ripley, they decied to order a whole new door system but not the transom, the installers ripout the door frame but left the transom. After the new door it still leaked, l noticed a big draft from the transom we called them again. The installers came back and ripout the transom, it still leaked and the door was warped again for the 2 time plus they broke are door chime and said they would cut us a check (that never happened)we are still waiting to hear from them but no one ever calls us back because they got all are money over $5600 dollars.
You would think the owner of centennial would get involved but he doesn't care. we asked for our money back so we can hire another company to do the job right(no call back what so ever from Don Ripley)they just shit on another one of there customers.
