Recruiters - do not work with Tricia McGarry Church. After hiring two employees that she requested that I help her find, she has still not paid my company for our services. She is currently 150 days past due on her first payment, and has not responded to invoices, email messages, or phone calls. She has been dishonest to both my employer, and the employees that she hired, having not paid them for their employment, along with bouncing paychecks.

She first contacted me on April 13, 2008, after I referred a good friend to work for her that she ended up hiring. I did this willingly for free in order to build good relations with her. On that date she asked if we could discuss her company's hiring needs. On May 6, 2008, the newly hired President of Cobalt Communications Group contacted me and Tricia asked me to work with her.

On June 11, 2008 the first employee that I hired for her began work. The contract was signed by the President of her company. On June 23, 2008 the second employee that I hired for her began work. That contract was also signed and returned to my company. Her first payment on the first employee was due July 11th and due July 23rd for the second employee. Neither was paid. To this date, none of the invoices have even been acknowledged by Tricia, nor the company that acquired Cobalt Communications Group.

I spent countless hours working for Tricia's company on these two positions, along with other positions that were never filled. She currently owes my company upwards of $20K for the work we have done. The one time we were able to get in contact with her, her response was, 'Of course I am going to pay you.' That was sometime in July 2008.

My hope in getting this out is that no other recruiters will be ripped off by this woman, who runs her business on her reputation.
