corpus christi, TexasDamon Gibson has been ripping people off in the coastal bend for more than 4 years. Now he has left town without paying his staff or refunding advertising money for magazines published 1 year late. Someone said he was in San Antonio, tx.
His last magazine said he was going to try and compete against Texas Monthly.
When Mark Urh of Mark Uhr at rockport properties didn't pay his advertising bill Damon sent out a nasty email to everyone in the Rockport chamber of commerce telling them. what he didn't mention was that the magazine was 8 months late.
Anyone trying to get paid should call Susann's Jewelers at 361-991-7565 and ask to speak with Mr. Bales. He knows Damon well and works with him at the Gulf Coast Humane Society. Damon says he's producing a Guest Book for the Coastal Bend - be warned - money has been paid for advertising but there is no book.
There are multiple posts on freelancer websites where Damon threatens to sue any freelancer trying to get paid. He says his Daddy is a lawyer so watch out. Damon got named poop of the day on one website ... the coastal enthusiast and all that support this liar should be contacted until this publication takes care of what it owes people.

Be warned Damon Gibson is a good for nothing piece of crap. He has bankrupted several magazines during the last ten years and he has no conscience about leaving the destruction behind.
Damon Gibson is a rip off super star. I liked the group that called him poop of the day.
Piece of s*** is a better term.
Freelancers not paid. Printers not paid - Classic Printers n Houston. Printers Unlimited in Corpus Christi - check the county court system for records.
His drug problem seems to be the root of his problems. While he was in charge of the Rotary youth program at Flour Bluff he was arrested for drug use three times. The only thing more disturbing is that he was also arrested for child pornography however, the Corpus christi police lost the evidence.
Damon Gibson is a con artist who ruins people's lives and moves on ... call his advertisers and the Coastal Bend Rotary Clubs and let them know - check the police records - his father has protected him in the legal system, but there is a trail of destruction left ... ask any one who has worked for him ... Stephan Noack, Jessica Grumman, Rebecca Esparaza, Chelle Yarbrough, Peter Kendig.
The Art Museum of South Texas, Corpus Christi Ice Rays, Foster Angels, The Haas Family, Robb Kendrick, Thaxton Kypke, Port of Corpus Christi Authority, The Ruidant Family, Bryan Slaven, Trademark Property, United States Homeland Security and Border Protection, The Winn Exploration Company ... his group should all be held to pay employees.
Other employees are Daniel L. Sawhook, Stephan Noack, Santiago Calderon and Alejandro Curiel.
Damon Gibson calls his company Coop Advertising Comapny Publishing and he is living in an apartment in San Antonio Texas.
This is a group of con artist that is ripping off small businesses every day.
The BBB doesn't do anything - call the police.
