I contacted the carpet cleaning service, but not because I received a coupon and needed a "discount". I called because I always see their coupons and at the moment I needed carpet cleaning, I called because I remember the "coupon" that always came in the mail. I dont recall any other carpet cleaning service. Well I was nicely advised that someone would be hear on Saturday Nov 3, between 9 and 11 am., and that if I cancel that I would be charged $50.00 fee for canceling, which would be the minimum they charge if someone comes to my home. Anyway, I called around 9:30 a.m. that morning to confirm, and was advised that someone would be at my home closer to 11:00 a.m. Well, I then started to re-arrange furniture and pick up my 2 year old's toys, as well as pick up stuff from the floor to prepare.

Well, my daughter just kept making a mess all over the place and I was getting frustrated waiting. At that point, it was already noon and my husband called again to simpoly see when someone was coming. He was not nasty, but extremely polite, but was rudely informed that she did not have a "crystal ball". My husband informed the lady that he sholdnt take that tone because he was merely asking a question. She kept on with the nasty attitude and my husband informed her to cancel the service because he does not want that type of business in our home. He was rudely reminded that if we should cancel, we would still be charged the $50.00. At that point my hubby was frustrated and called back again to speak to the manager, who was less then helpful and more arrogant than the first. My husband informed her that since they failed to arrive at their contracted time, AND their business manner was less than stellar, that our Visa better not be charged.

Our card has not been charged at of 1 hour later, but if it is, I will dispute that with my bank. BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY HAS THE WORST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES! However, they advertise, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! RIGHT! They sound like they are collecting money for an old gambling debt! This is no way to be treated by a company!

Ok, after filing a complaint with my bank for my money back because my husband was forced to cancel this service, 1 Nation's response was that my husband called at 10:30 am cancelling the service, after he was advised that a technician would be arriving at our home. What a crock! They fail to mention the fact that they did not know when a technician was coming because they needed to look in their "crystal ball"! I believe I will be filing a Superior Court claim, not because of the loss of $50, but because we were treated poorly and no one deserves to be treated like this.

In compairing cable and phone services, whose installations are normally free, they also promise to be at your home between certain hours and most of the time fail to do so, however, their customer service reps always either keep you informed or try to keep you at ease. These people failed to do either. I cant let this one go! I will keep you informed.
