I checked my phone bill and found that I had been charged $7.57 for a service called "Calling 10". I do not know this service and I never initiated this service nor did anyone in my household. I can state this very confidently because there is just myself and my husband in this home. He never makes calls and I know I never used this service ever. I notified AT&T and they credited me for the service and blocked my acct from having any further billing from this company.

Then I had to call the company and ask them to remove me from their accts. They asked me my name. You would think that if they had your phone number they would have your name. I was a little reluctant in giving my name, but I did to get removed from their service. I asked her to block my phone number from their service and I did not initiate this service and I will not pay it and it should never be charged on my acct ever again. Beware. There are unscrupulous people out there trying to make a buck off of unaware people.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

ITS NOT A SCAM OR RIP OFF

AUTHOR: Jols - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 13, 2008

ok first of all its not a rip off to use the service someone may of been looking for an 800 number and that number was changed or disconnected so a pre-recorded would came over the phone and said that to get the original number you have to hang up and dial 10-15-15-8000 or 10-10-27-500. after hearing that message the caller has to hang up and dial one of those numbers!!! and its not a re-accuring charge its one time and works like a 411!!!!! people just don't remember if they use it or not and they basically get there money back if they listen and are helpful.and the reason they don't have ur information like ur name or adress is cuz there not ur phone company!!! there a third party billing provider so if they have ur information they would be doing alot more then charging ur phone bill!!! AND NOT TO MENTION!! that its there policy to give u ur money back so everyone who complains about that should feel stupid cuz u do get every penny back even if u used the service!!! so just to let people know its not a rip off and u should read this before considering that!!!
