Beware of ads placed on Craigslist from home address 132 Grattan st, San Francisco CA 94107. I have found an ad coming from this address and I got in touch with the home owner who allegedly tried to rip me off.
The ad said that there was a laptop to pick up at no charge. When I went to the address listed on the ad the home owner told me that they had already given the laptop away but he had other computers for sale. I reported this to the police and I found out that the owners have been involved in several scams in the last years. This house is owned by Ezekiel Maurice Booker and Thelma Hodnett Booker. Ezekiel had a plumbing business for many years before going out of business and her mother Thelma has been running a book scam online.
Anyway, the laptop advertising was clearly a scam and it was purposely/maliciously posted by Ezekiel and/or his mother Thelma. Do not fall for this and if you see craigslist advertising coming from 132 Grattan st, San Francisco CA 94107 do not bother to contact these people and stay away from them because there is nothing free there, they are simply scamming people online.
