This company advertises to offer persons with less desirable interest rates to lower their interest rates by 2 percent on their auto loans. The letter that they send out states that you have been selected from this offer based on the criteria obtained from your credit report. They further state that this is a "Pre-Screened" offer.
However, once you apply, you get turned down with a letter to follow as to the reason. Lowering my interest by 2 percent would have been great, but now the only thing that I have is another ding to my credit report which will likely lower my score even further.
If this company has "pre-screened" their offer and then turn it down, why send the letter. This company is a scam and I intend to file a complaint with the credit bureau in which they did a pull of my credit report and state that it should not have been authorized. Don't let this company take you for a scam. They don't have anything to offer you. Their pre-screening authorization has nothing to do with anything that you credit report contains and is contradicting in the letter they send. Stay away from this company.
