On Tuesday, December 6, 2016 @ 11:38 am, I made a deposit of $40.00 into my savings account at the 1st National Bank inside the Walmart located at 6185 Retail road, Dallas, Texas 75231. The next day I got charged $34.00 for NSF. On Wednesday, December 7, 2016, I went back to the same bank and ask the same teller who taken my deposit the day before why she did not inform me that my account was over drawn by more than $39.51. The teller said “we don’t suppose to tell our customers that their bank account is overdrawn”.

On Friday, December 9, 2016, I went back to the same bank and this time I talked to the branch manager Lourdes Ortiz. I ask her the same question? Why the teller did Not inform me that my savings account was overdrawn and she said “Our customers they do Not want them to know that their accounts are overdrawn”. This time I used my cell phone to record all the 15.02 minutes for evidence I had with Lourdes Ortiz. Basically, what she is saying is that if you are negative for only ninety-nine cents (.99) we are going to charge you $34.00 for overdraft fee so we can get our Christmas Bonus. So, what if a hacker stole all your money from your savings account, wouldn’t a customer be advised that your account is overdrawn.

Ms. Ortiz and 1st National Bank are trying to cover up the big Mistake they made not telling me that my savings account was overdrawn and they have been secretly taken out a $3.50 withdrawal fee. I have had a saving and checking account with this bank for over 2 years and Never written a bad check or had my saving account overdrawn. They even charged me another $34.00 after 5 days because I refuse to deposit or do business with this bank again. Today my saving account has been charged $101.00 for fraudulent bank fees. All of this could have been avoided if only the teller would have informed me that my account was in the negative because I could have used the ATM machine which is only about 5 feet away from the teller to withdraw money from my other saving account at another bank. The amount of money we are talking about is only $3.50 fradulent bogus hidden withdrawal bank fees when they added to my saving account. This bank will try to blame the customers for their mistakes. I don't recommed this bank to any of my friends, relatives or the general public.

A Sorry Example of Society

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 20, 2016

There is no question as to who's account this is.  There is no question who's money is in this account, is there?  It's YOUR money.  Yet YOU come here to a public forum to proudly proclaim YOU have absolutely no clue as to what is happening with YOUR account!  You want the bank to tell you when you are overdrawn when in reality, YOU should know exactly to the penny how much money is in YOUR account!  YOU don't know any of this because YOU don't keep any written records not an on going running balance!  YOU could not tell anybody right this very second how much money you have, can you?  When adults properly manage their checking account, these things not massive OD fees never happen.  Until and unless YOU learn how to manage an account by keeping track of your account usage and maintaining an on going running balance, you'll have the same problem at every bank!  Oh by the way, I don't work for them!
