21st Mortgage Harassment, unprofessional, bullies, thugs Internet

For the three years that we have had a mortgage with 21st, it's been like a prison sentence. Of course, much like many Americans right now, we struggle financially from time to time; we've been late on a payment here & there, etc. But, we are not criminals, children, or animals and I think it is an utter outrage at the way they have talked to and treated us.

First off, they bombard us with phone calls, non-stop, whether the payment is late, early, on time...doesn't matter. It's a constant flow of calls from either "Caitlyn", "Abby", or "Brian". Not only do they call us non-stop, they also call our family, friends, and basically anyone else who they can get hold of and will give them 5 seconds of their time. While I don't really care that they DO call them, it's the belittling and sharing private information that disturbs me. I don't care how "justified" they seem to think it is, it's never right, professional, ethical, or okay to discuss your clients the way that they do. Not to mention that I was under the impression, initially given by 21st, that it was illegal to make it practice to discuss the details of our loan with people other than us. If that is the case, they have no common regard for the law whatsoever.

The times that we have had conversations with the employees, (or bullies, rather) its has been nothing except them demanding to know how much our paychecks are in exact dollar amounts, the amount of our other bills and expenses...we've even had them go so far as to question us on why our water bill was "so high". They have also resorted to referring to us as "irresponsible", "immature", and several other inaccurate adjectives that a person in any sort of professional capacity should not use when referring to someone.

We've also amassed quite the collection of e-mails and letters from them, as well. When I say we receive an article of some type of mail from them daily, I am not even remotely exaggerating, as some days it is MULTIPLE articles of mail. It is ridiculous.

I cannot wait until we can either sell our mobile home or pay off this company. I have never had such difficulties dealing with any institution of this nature. I can safely say, once we are able to tell them good riddance, I will never even remotely have any personal affairs with this shady company.

All that's necessary is to pay your full payment on time, EVERY time and you'll see all this stop.

It makes no difference "like many Americans right now" that justifies nothing.

I would also bet you aren't just late on a paymen "here and there, etc," but serial late payers..right?

What would you expect ANY other lender to differently?

They just want paid on time EVERY time.

Paying your mortgage payment should be your FIRST PRIORITY.

Continue the route you're taking and you'll soon be sleeping in your car.
