I was just fired after a couple days working with a company that call themselves "24/7 Support", which allegedly provides support to over 2000 online merchants, but almost all of the charges assisted there are for a program called Lifestyle Deals Now and another one called At Home Worksite, both of which are unauthorized charges for an alleged service of "make-money-at-home products". When you go to their pages, lifestyledealsnow.com, athomeworksite.com and www.chargehelper.com you end up contacting this fraudulent company. When you ask where are they located, they'll say in Miami, FL, but they are actually in the district of Lindora, township of Santa Ana, province of San Jose, Costa Rica. Just ask about weather in Miami, they have no idea. They make their employees read a worthless script full of grammatical errors that does not respond at all to your questions as consumers, as well as lie about the true origin of the charges, saying that they work with real companies providing downloadable tools to work from home (but it is actually their own charges), that the subscriptions are real and that they are cancelling and refunding them when in fact the agents are instructed to not refund a dime but actually to tell callers that they have cancelled and refunded when in fact their subscriptions are still running and charging. They do not pay even the minimum wage (because they are exploiting Costa Ricans) and they even more try to defraud the local government by reporting their employees to be paid $3.33/hour when they offer to pay $4.50/hour. And their supervisors are in no mood to take the escalations, they rather just say "tell'em to call back in 3 minutes". The one in charge is a guy called Jason Brock, who has been giving employees the part of their wage that is not reported in marked US$ bills. If you see charges from rasshelp.com, thorsupport.com, myslsupport.com, corsaircs.com, bansheecs.com or anything like that, don't waste time calling for a refund or an explanation. Just call your bank and ask for a chargeback and then the authorities, this is just a scam. Believe me, I was there, just got fired for refunding everything and trying to help people like you.

Defense of 24/7 Support

I am Jason Brock, and I am the Operations Manager for the 24/7 Support Call Center.  We are an outsourcing company that provides support to many different companies representing thousands of different merchants.  We have recently lost 2 of our biggest outsourcing contracts, and have been forced to temporarily down size.  We are currently searching for new outsourcing clients to build the center back up.  Please allow me to go through each one of these false accusations one by one, to prevent my companies name from being further discredited.

1.  Lifestyledealsnow and Athomeworksite are companies that we provide support for, and they provide a service to these customers.  Our support center is in fact located in Costa Rica, however these companies are located in Miami, FL which is why we say that is where we are.

2.  The script that is provided to the agents is informative, and is grammatically correct.

3.  The allegation that we instruct our agents not to refund a dime is the opposite of the truth.  We train our agents to explain the charge and the product to the customer.  If the customer either does not recognize the charge, does not agree with it, or is not happy with the product our agents are instructed to refund and cancel any further recurring billings.

4.  We pay well over the Costa Rican minimum wage, and everything is properly reported to the government.

5.  Our Supervisors are well trained in customer service, and are very good at their jobs.  A Supervisor would never brush off an agent, or tell a customer to call back.

6.  The only cash that is handed out in this office is gift certificates for superior performance

7.  As I stated in the opening we unfortunately lost 2 large outsourcing contracts, and we were forced to lay off a large number of our staff.  The out sourcing call center business is never completely steady as far as the volume goes.  It has it's ups and downs, and therefor we must manage the staff accordingly.  This person is simply a disgruntled employee that we had to lay off, and he or she is trying to damage mine and my companies name.  We would never fire anyone for the reasons that this person is stating.  We evaluated our entire staff, and kept the strongest employees, and unfortunately had to get rid of the rest.  All employees that were laid off were told that when business picks up if they still need work we would be more than happy to bring them back.  We also completely paid those who were laid off in full as per the Costa Rican Labor Law.
