24HourTaxServices.com Rip Off Theft Fraud Scam Internet

With the busy Tax season I decided to file my taxes online. Also, to apply for a RAL. After searching for a service to do so I chose 24HourTaxServices.com.

I filed my taxes January 13th. The IRS approved it the 14th and I was denied the RAL the 15th. So the website stated that my refund would be deposited in 8-14 days from my filing date. So, after the denial I watched the IRS website for the deposit date.

Soon the IRS said the refund would be deposited the 25th of January and that if it was not done by the 30th to call them. So, the 25th came. No money. Called the bank like the IRS said to do and they didn't have it. That monday I called the bank again and they had no money coming from the IRS. So I called the IRS.

On the 31st the IRS put a trace on my refund to see where it went to. It went to JP Morgan Chase bank. The 24hourtaxservices bank account. I called the tax services and they never answer other than two times. Those two times the girl seemed confused and in a hurry to get me off the phone and hung up quickly.

So the only way I could get in contact with someone was the live online chat and the two girls who seem to be the only ones working it, Elizabeth and Samantha were both rude and unhelpful. They would stated they'd forward my concerns to their managers and the managers would contact me through email.

NEVER HAPPENED! No one called. No one answered the phone and no one emailed me. I got annoyed and fustrated left to have someone I thought could be trusted to still my money.

I have a one year old and I'm a single parent. I'm not down and out but I do need that money. For me and my daughter.

After two days of constantly calling and emailing I was at my wits end. I finally called Chase bank. They transfered me around then I finally got someone. I told this young woman they had my money and that I knew which account it was in. They had me fax in my Id, SS Card, a hand written letter saying what happened and my Tax Return.

NOW, finally I have my money coming to me. From their bank. The bank stated they believed the 24hourtaxservices to be conducting questionable practices and they are now sending me a check of my tax refund.

Needless to say that the tax services I used will not see a penny of my money.

Also, the IRS are currently looking into their services and will be working on shutting them down.
