25/8 OnCall Computer Services Owner is from Argentina. But the staff refuses to say his name. This company sold a defective used PC computer and refused to replace it or fix it without upsell charges. No money back here. No matter what. Alexsndria Virginia

First, I found them through Amazon Services. But when I contacted them. onCALL 25/8 said to call them direct and do not pay Amazon. So I thought I would do that. Mistake. If they cheat Amazon...they will cheat and steal from everyone. Even their gullible customers, like me.
onCall26/8 said they could translate and transfer my data from one external hard drive to another. They did the transfer but they did not bring older versions up to up-to-date software versions. Oh well. I accepted that. While I was there I bought a used laptop.
Bad decision. Do not buy anything from this group of thieves.
The laptop was defective.

The owner, who is from Argentina, refused to back up his product.
He stalled. He refused to be reasonable.

He kept the laptop for two weeks purportedly waiting to make an exchange with me for a Mac that he had to place of the defected PC laptop.
LOL the Mini Mac laptop was 9 years old. The shop wanted $600 for the machine which can be bought market price about $200 on Craigs list today.
I have been trying to get my money back or a replacement for the bad PC that they sold me for two months. I give up. From my experience, this shop is a nest of thieves,
I wish I had never walked into this store after being tricked and lured in from their use of Amazon services.

Next option? Small claims court and let the judge hear it.

Stay away from this place that advertises heavy. But does not stand behind their products or service. Once the money leaves your hand to theirs----you will never see it again, no matter what.

Update on 25/8 OnCall

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 29, 2016

I was able to return the  equipment and  the company gave me all my money back.

They stood behind their product and although it took some time to work out, they did the right thing in the end.

This site does not remove old reviews even though I had requested that they do this.
