3 Mobile THREE MOBILE RIPOFF - Scam. Lied to, Hung up on, Took my credit card details!!! Hutchison NSW

Here is a copy of the complaint letter I am going to post them, it explains the situation:

Dear Sir,

I phoned your Three sales line on Saturday October 9th 2004 and signed up to your $33/month plan. I was called the following Monday to confirm my order and I was told that the phone would be sent that day.

After not having received the phone by Thursday (3 days later), I called to check that the phone was indeed on its way. I was told that the phone had only been sent on Wednesday and that I would receive it on Friday before 5pm. I didn't receive the phone on Friday, so I called the sale line again and was told that I would certainly have the phone on Monday the 18th. I did not receive the phone on that date so I called again and was told that the phone had been delivered, but since nobody was home the phone was send all the way back to Sydney. Somebody was home all day on Monday, and if they weren't, the phone should have been left at the local post office, not returned to Sydney.

I am still waiting for my phone which was promised 100% to be here by Friday 22nd October before 5pm. It is currently 5:15pm on Tuesday October 26 and still no phone. I have been without a mobile phone for 3 weekends now and I have lost a lot of money due to clients not being able to call me.

This is by far the worst experience I have had with any company. I am now the laughing stock of the office for being sucked in to ordering a phone off the 3 Sales line. I am very disappointed in your service, I have been lied to 4 times, hung up on once, and I can't get through to the right sales people because they are on a break almost every time I call.

I have now dealt with 9 different sales people on this matter including Anthony, Zabby and others whose names I did not note, and all have assured me that my phone would be here on time and that they were following it up and would call me back. I have never (not even once) been called back by any member of your sales staff.

I wish to cancel my membership to 3, before even having experienced your actual phone service. I will only continue with this membership if I am credited with some kind of significant discount as I've lost (according to my calculations) $980.00 worth of business by not having a phone.

I am tired of hearing that my phone will be here on time, so far I've been promised 7 different deadlines and all have failed miserably. It would have been so much easier to go to a 3 store and pick up the phone. Why do you keep telling me the phone will be here tomorrow??? So far there's been 7 tomorrows and STILL no phone.
