So I had a similar experience. This guy posted on backpage and guaranteed to get me into the adult industry with promise of a nice income. 

He explained that his company is very fair and legit and explicitly stated that all his workers must be tested once a month for stds. He told me to provide him with  $140 for the testing plus an additional fee for and "agency fee". Thing is the guy met me at a mall and insisted on me getting him the money. At first he told me that I could go to the testing center on my own but that he couldnt guarantee me any work unless I paid him strait forward. I didnt have any money on me.

He texted me the next day at 7am eagerly trying to meet up with me to collect money. I explained to him that I found this fraud report related to his cell number and he claimed that the girl who filed the reoport was a bitter ex employee. He then got a lot more agressive with me and said that if I didn't pay him up front then he would have to just not consider me for work.

So basically thanks to this report I was saved money. I know he still has a post on Backpage and I dont know how many girls he has gotten money from. He speaks as if he is in deed legit and has the "right" answer to every question. But he would not provide me an office where he was based and I could not find on google the testing facility he claimed he worked with.

Watch out for him. DO NOT give him money. He promises immediate work in exchange for the money but I doubt he has ever provided any work at all.
