You hear horror stories of unscrupulous and dishonest roofers and contractors who do the job and skip after payment without paying the suppliers. The end result is a lawsuit against the homeowner and a lien being placed on the property for materials, interest and legal fees. Darryl Moss, aka. Moss Roofing, Darryl Moss Roof Care & now 3D Roofing of Everett is one such contractor to watch out for. He did my roof as Moss Roofing and said he was licensed and bonded at the time of bidding. As it turns out, he had cancelled his license and bond just weeks before doing my roof and skipped out without paying the supplier. American Building Materials has come after me for over $1,800 and is further going after Darryl & Elizabeth Moss for an additional $12,000 from other unsuspecting fools like myself. If you come across this low-life, steer clear of any business dealing with him and advise your friends and relatives to do the same. That's the only way we can keep these types of people out of business.
