I ordered a 3Q International Foot and Calf Messager and it failed after 6 months.I called the company several times, and reached voice mail each time. They have not called me back.

3Q requires I return the item to them in the original packaging and manuals with a $45.00 check to pay for shipping back to me. They offer their products (mainly air purifies and messagers) on their website 3QInternational.com and Amazon.com.

I understand I am responsable for return shipping. However, to require I send a $45 check in for warranty replacement is not disclosed anywhere on their website or online.

Also, saving original packaging for such a large product is difficult at best.

I hope other consumers consider this before purchasing any 3Q product. They need to include this in their policy.

Here is the response I received from 3Q:

I am sorry to hear your massager is broken.The the calf and feet massager has a 1 yr. warranty which covers defective products. After 30 days of purchase any problems go into the warranty process. We can repair or replace the product, but there is no refund. This warranty does not cover the product if it is damaged by accident and/or improper use or normal wear and tear.

According to the manufacturer's warranty policy in the manual: Please send the item back to us and include a money order payment of $45 (FOR MG-C11) (Money order pay to: 3Q International) for our resending shipping. If you would like to replace the product please send the product back to us in its original box with all its original materials including the manual and pack well. Also, please make sure to note the return # on the outside of the box when sending the package back, name, full address and telephone number. Inside the box include a dated sales receipt or proof of purchase, the model number of the unit and the problem you are having. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I responded to them to waive the additional fee and will update this review as I hear more information.
