417 Rentals/Chris Gatley and Mindy, his girlfriend 417 Rentals are slumlords and will rip you off. I paid $1100 for a house I was not able to move into. The back door DID NOT EVEN LOCK NOR LATCH. Brookline, Missouri

417 Rentals, Chris Gatley and his girlfriend Mindy are slum lords and will rip you off.  I paid $1100 for a house I was unable to move into.  Worse yet, they would not fix the problems, they would not contact me back and kept my money.  The back door of the house DID NOT EVEN LOCK OR LATCH.  There was a huge pile of trash dumped out the back door that was a health code violation.  They would not even return my calls, my emails, or my money. 

Finally I had an attorney contact them and they are attempting to only give me $500 back of the $1100 I paid.  So this must be what they do.  They rent a property, promise to fix the problems and then don't and just keep your money.  WHAT A SCAM!  I intend to file complaints with any and all entities, including the Board of Realtors on this company.

This is bad business.  I am a single parent and work hard for my money.  Chris Gatley and Mindy basically just steal your money. 

For anyone thinking of renting from 417 Rentals, Chris Gatley and Mindy, BEWARE!  You should strongly reconsider.  Check out the number of Better Business Bureau complaints filed on these people and do a search online.  You will find out that these people are shady and so are their business practices.  Hoping that after all the complaints, the Attorney General will get involved.
