My name is Dr. Subbu Subramanian, and I am the President of 4S Medical Billing RCM, LLC (“4S Medical Billing”). In that capacity, I believe that I must rebut the willfully false and misleading comments made by Troy Alan Smith, a former employee of 4S Medical Billing, which were published in the Rip Off Report. Troy Alan Smith was employed as a consultant for 4S Medical Billing on October 26, 2015. In this role, he served as VP & Director of Business Operations. His role was to work with me in developing this startup company. To that end, he was to play multiple lead roles in sales, marketing, recruitment, training and operations.

On December 5, 2015, after just one month of employment, I fired Troy Alan Smith for, among other things, non-performance as well as spending company funds without authorization. Before leaving the company grounds, Mr. Smith unlawfully took two (2) laptop bags as well as an IPhone 6S Plus (64MB) smart phone with a collective value of over $1100.00. In addition, Mr. Smith went onto the web hosting site for 4S Medical Billing and removed employee email accounts and company websites. Finally, he posted on the Internet willfully false and misleading comments about me, 4S Medical Billing, and it employees.

The statements published by Troy Alan Smith in the Rip Off Report with regard to 4S Medical Billing, its employees, and me are utterly false and without merit. Moreover, they are defamation per se in that they depict both me and my employees as engaging in fraudulent activity that violates civil and criminal law. Please note that I believe that the Internet is an important medium for dissemination of accurate and truthful information and for fair comment on issues of interest. Mr. Smith’s activities, however, unlawfully encroach upon the rights of both me as well as my employees.

On a personal note, I am an educated, respected professional and have spent years serving my community and building a positive reputation. Most recently, I, along with my employees, initiated the startup of a medical billing company. It is our collective desire to build to a solid company that will provide both employment as well as a good working environment for qualified individuals. It is unfortunate that an individual would try to cover up his own deficiencies by lashing out against others in an attempt to injure them and their reputations.
