The first thing that happened to me and my family was last year. We had taken my son and his friend to 6 flags, here in Denver, for his 6th birthday. We spent 102 dollars just to get in for the four of us. So spending that kind of money, not including food and games, you would expect to get treated good there, NOT!

We were in line at the Rainbow, and when we got to the measuring stick, my son was obviously not big enough to get on. Ok, no problem, he walked through and stood with his dad.

Well his friend had a hat on, but was obviously big enough to get on. Well as he was walking through, the ride attendent, yelled at him"Excuse me!", then grabbed him by his arm, pulled him back, and literally ripped his hat off of him.

Yes he was tall enough by the way. My sons friend looked at me and started crying because this man had pulled his hair in the process. I said to the guy"Hey dont touch my kid!". He said back"Well then he needs to take his hat off". I said" I could have taken it off for him.

You dont touch other peoples kids!" Well we walked through, and went to the customer service office, and filed a complaint. We gave them our name, address, and phone number.

To this day, do you think we have even heard Boo from them, no. Not even an apology. This happened on 8-8-01.

My next complaint was on 7-3-02. Me and my friend had taken our kids there. We got there around 2 pm. 6 flags does not let you bring your own food in to the park, so we packed a cooler.

At around 4 pm, the kids got hungry so we went to the car to eat. As i got into the car I found my radio was stolen, along with my check book and cds.

Ok so I found a security gaurd and we called the police, and made a report. Well I felt since we pay 8 dollars for parking, and they have "security" patroling their parking lots, they should take some responsibility.

Well No. I found out they have no responsibility, because it says so on the back of the parking stub. That is fine and dandy, except for the fact, when you give the 8 dollars to the parking attendant, she throws the stub on your dash for you, and tells you to move.

So you cant read the back of the stub, until you have already paid, and are in the lot. And guess what? You cant get your money back after you have already been in the lot.

So I feel, why should I have to pay 8 dollars to use their lots, if they are not gonna take any responsibilty for your property.

So this being said, I will never go back. My friends and family will never go back. And I think it is a shame that a big company like 6 flags, lets this kind of abuse to customers go unaccounted for.

First of all I am sorry that those two things happened to you. I do have some suggestions as I work in the customer service business, but not for Six Flags.

First, I would write an an official complaint letter regarding the two instances to the corporate offices. Especially the last one on theft from your car. When you write the corporate office, then someone usually responds.

Second, if that doesn't work, then contact a local news station and ask for their investigative division. Most local stations have journalists that investigate consumer complaints and it sounds like you got a good one or two. More than likely, that Six Flags is being run by the same manager and once a company that is huge like Six Flags starts getting some bad press, things will happen.

I do hope you visit a Six Flags park in the future. Maybe not that one, but I am from Texas, and the 4 parks we have in this state are run top notch. Friendly people who take care of kids, not grab them, and the security on the lots is like being in a military base. Try it, because the worst that can happen is what has already happened, but at least you tried.
