7-elevens-free-slurpee-day-celebrates-american-tradtion-000900824.htm

Today is 7-12 and 7-eleven took the ad off their website is a clear indication that they don't want me to take a snap shot of their ad and post it here.  No where on their ad they stated limited cups of free slurpee or for only the first 50 customers.      Bewared off this in the future and don't bother going there.

I took my 3 kids there and there was a sign at the front door they ran out of cups and I was told that they only have a limited number of free cups.  No where on there advertisement that say anything like that.  Then the attendant at the store told me it was like free for only the 1st 50 customers.    7-11 lured many people and their children to 7-eleven and ended up having to paid for the slurpee for their kids so they won't be disappointed.  Others had purchased other stuff from 7-eleven to make the trip not a wasted one.  This is clearly an adverstisement for 7-eleven to boost their business by luring people their with their kids.  What do you do when you get there & your kids are already thinking they are getting a free slurpy. Many parents purchased one for their kids plus other snacks.  This is one of the worst scams I encountered .  Tricking kids is the worst thing that adults can do.    Boyscott all 7-eleven and send a message to them that they cannot do this to children or adults..............................

7-11

AUTHOR: 818electric - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, August 15, 2011

Why only 3 children? You could borrow neighbors kids too.
Then you would have a larger supply of free slurpies.
7-11 was probably running their promotion for July 11.
If you want them to continue free give away on July 12 you will need to wait for 7-11 to change their hame to 7-12

I used

to "know" someone that would visit the 7/11 employee on duty regularly to "fool around" with them.

While this was going on out of site, certain individuals would help themselves to whatever they pleased.

GOOD TIMES!

Jenny and staycee, enough out of you!

Mr. Rik

AUTHOR: Jeanski - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, August 14, 2011

Not only is Mr. Rik a moron, but his encouragement of others to break the law is a crime.  The First Amendment does not apply to those who incite others to act in an illegal manner.  See Brandenburg v. Ohio, 395 U.S. 444 (1969) for details.

Why is this not covered in ROR TOS?  And where is the EDitor? Why doesn't he stop this disgusting behavior? I'm also wondering if EDitor can be held liable if someone acts on Rik's words...

Mr. Rik's comments detract from the other, more genuine complaints.

I had charges brought up against this gas thief

AUTHOR: msmontecarlo - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, August 13, 2011

I pressed charges against the gas thief . He told the cop he did that because he had no money to pay for the fuel. IF he came and told me or my co worker we would of worked something out with him.
His DL got suspended and also got banned from 7-11.

It's true they have cameras

AUTHOR: Inspector - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 11, 2011

They are pointed at the front door and the cashier mostly to prevent employee theft.  Also, they sometimes put one in the walkin cooler to prevent vendor theft.  Customer theft is statistically low so no need to watch them.  Even gasoline drive offs are friends or relatives of employees.

There are cameras in the store

AUTHOR: msmontecarlo - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 11, 2011

Seven eleven has cameras in their store and if you get caught stealing the merchandise seven eleven can have charges brought up against you and bar you from thier property. If you come back on the property after being banned  you will be charged with criminal trespass.

Not a good solution Mr. rik

AUTHOR: Inspector - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 13, 2011

It will only punish the associate that has to clean up your mess and costs the company nothing.  The corporate headquarters is responsible for the promotion and they will never know about your solution.

Promotion

AUTHOR: Ramjet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 12, 2011

Of course the purpose of a promotion like this is to get people to come in spend more money.  That's why everyone has promotions.

You don't think any business does it because they just want to give people free stuff do you?  If you come in with a bunch of kids, get a bunch of free stuff and leave without buying anything they are not going to be enthusiastic about it.

By the way, the kids will live through a little disappointment now and then, I promise.

I went to the web msight

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 12, 2011

Did you actually READ what was there?  This is what it said:But make sure you arrive early. Often stores will run out of their limited edition cups well before the end of the day. Call your local 7-Eleven for more details to find out if they still have cups available.

But make sure you arrive early. Often stores will run out of their limited edition cups well before the end of the day. Call your local 7-Eleven for more details to find out if they still have cups available.

What part of that don't you understand?  They tell you to get there early, to call first, and htat it is limited.

Is it to much to ask to understand not everything in this world is free.
Come on, you can't spend $1.29???

I don't think it's asking a lot.... But I guess it is to you.
