7cups 7 cups of tea They ask customers who visit their site to go for a free therapy trial. They take card details during registration telling it is only for safety purpose and we won't be charged. But at the end of 3 days trial, they deduct money without our knowledge. In fact, I didn't even get a 3 day trial because my therapist didn't even respond to me in that span. And I was charged $150. They claim they are "transparent" about it. But if that were the case there wouldn't be so many complaints on their forum. To which they never bother to act on, Internet

7 cups of tea is a community and forum that claims to provide mental support for people in distress.

I visited the site and was going for a free listener when an ad came and persuaded me to go for a 3 day Free trial Therapy. So I registered for the free trial. They said for security purpose they need to take our card information. But money won't be deducted. So I gave away the information.

At the end of the three days trial they deducted $150 from my acount without my permission. I didn't even get a chance to decide whether I want to continue or not, as my therapist was not available because i had registered on weekend.(Therapists are not available on weekends) , they didn't tell before before registering.. So I couldn't talk to the therapist during my trial period.

After my money was deducted and I enquired, I found that they have this "policy" in their terms and condition , which is so lame, coz they were not upfront about it when they prompted me to register. And even if they had to charge they could have charged for 3 days. But they charged for an entire month.   I don't even need a therapist daily at the rate of $5.
