88 Petworld the worst pet store experience i ever had! i am no inexperienced customer, i have ran several pet stores myself for over a decade so i know what the business is all about and this paticular store owner and its workers are low and behold the rudest and misinformed i have ever come across. save yourself heartache, frustration and money and please please shop somewhere else! the worst pet store experience i ever had! i am no inexperienced customer, i have ran several pet stores myself for over a decade so i know what the business is all about and this paticular store owner and its workers are low and behold the rudest and misinformed i have ever come across. i had purchased an amphibian and a fish from them on the same day. the amphibian died on the 4th day after purchase. i have a tank with 5 other fish and another amphibian along with the newly purchased fish who all are healthy and show no signs of sickness. when i called the pet store and told them it had died on the 4th day they insisted i bring in a water sample from my tank for them to test in order for me to get a refund or exchange. i did so the next day along with the deceased frog just incase they wanted to see it. the owner wasnt even there, instead i got this young ignorant girl with a horrible attitude before i even opened my mouth. then starts critiquing the water samples negatively immediately. she then tested my water saying it was off the charts and that "she couldnt believe i had anything even alive in there" first of all how dare you make me feel like a pos pet owner and say such a cruel thing to a customer. mind you she had no idea what the specifications for this kind of amphibian were (at purchase the owner didnt even know how to sex it which is ridiculously simple so that shows how knowledgable they are) then i handed her the deceased pet in a bag. she grabbed the bag with two fingers like it was contaminated and rite in from of me turned and completely cold heartedly tossed it into this overfilled garbage can behind her. my heart sank. i then questioned if my tank and i were so terrible why were the 6 other fish and amphibian perfectly healthy and happy. ofcourse they had no answer besides the owner saying the fish i bought at the same time "is way more adaptable" than the frog which is the exact opposite according to all the factual literature available on both. it wasnt and neither is this review about the measley money i had lost. it is about how terrible they made me feel as a pet owner and how unneccessarily mean they were during the whole experience. how dare you jus turn around and toss an animal into the garbage rite in a customers face like that. if any of my employees at any of my pet stores had done an inkling of what they did they wuld of been fired on spot. save yourself heartache, frustration and money and please please shop somewhere else!
