The 99 Cent Store actually rings up all purchases at register .9999 cents and rounds up to $1.00 on the receipt. It states everywhere in the store that all items are 99 cents. This is fraud. Take a penny and multiply it times 100 items = $1.00 x 100= $100 x 10 = $1000.

The signs posted state 99 cents.. Not .9999 cents The rounding up is an extra cent Watch superman three for an idea of that signifigance of its only a penny It is false advertising, simple.. The worker is not understanding the theft this represents..

Whats funny about most ignorant customers like you do not know, its 99.99 which rounds up to a 1.00.. if you went to school or graduated you would know that its a mathematical term.. Our store logo is 99 cent only store.. Remember its our logo, so before you bash the store learn a little something..

I guess nobidy cares anymore about consumer fraud. The 99 Cent Only Stores have not changed their oricing signs in the store. The cashiers still continue to ring up .999 cents and tyhe the register rounds up to $1.00.
Its not just the pennies which add up to millions of dollars its the principal and it is still fraud no matter what.
