A+ Auto and Diesel repair, a shop I worked for almost a year. For a time I ran the shop by myself, while the owner Jeffrey Todd Loy, ran the roads after women, drinking and whatever else he did. For me he made lots of promises like I am going to pay you next week. Next week never came. He also lied and cheated the customers by saying he installed parts that he never installed but charged customers anyway.

Almost every car was done this way. But he couldn't pay me. He put the money in his pocket, never once offering to pay me my back wages. Last week he moved a new manager and mechanic in kicked me out without warning and without pay. He told me after running him down after days of not answering the phone, he sold the shop. I don't believe him he is a lie and everything about him. Jeff Loy even does his so called friends the same way. He takes parts off of customers cars paints it and sells back to them at a new part price.

He'll go to pull a part in Knoxville TN get a used part clean and paint it then sell it as new. He charges customers a large fee up front for parts and labor spends the money but he doesn't pay me and doesn't repair the car. To date Jeffrey Todd Loy owes me over ten thousand dollars in back wages. Warning if you live Sevier County TN do not take your car to A+ Auto and Diesel. You have been warned.

Scooter Indeed

I have been a customer of Mr Loy's for more than four years now. He services all three of our family cars. I have never had a service, time, or cost issue at anytime during the last four years and take offense that this man "Scooter" would suggest some of the things that he has. I did however have the unfortunate luck of having to speak with Ricky O'Brien AKA "Scooter" on one trip to A Plus for service on my car and found him to be the most prejudiced, foul mouthed, hate filled individual I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. I made a customer complaint to Mr. Loy about having to deal with him (Scooter) and from that point on Mr. Loy made the extra effort to pick up our cars and deliver them after service. I can imagine after several customer complaints about this individual Mr. Loy had no other option but to let this man go and hire new employees that were less offensive to customers.

After reading the rip off report over a second time I noticed that "Scooter" said almost every car had parts placed on them that were used and cleaned up but that he also stated that he ran the shop all by himself for a time so does that mean "he himself" placed these used but cleaned up parts on the cars?

If this is the case why did he only develop a problem with doing so after he was released from employment? It would seem to me an honest man/mechanic would take offense to being asked to do this the first time and would refuse or let the customer know the first time and wouldn't spend a year doing the very thing he is reporting here especially if he were running the place alone as he states in his report. This whole thing stinks of disgruntled ex-employee.

Im not sure who scooter is, however I am a customer of A+n Automotive and Diesel, Jeff Loy has worked on my Trucks and my families trucks for over 15years and not once have we had any problems. Jeff ran this shop with only 1 mechanic and this mechanic would not do anything, he refused to work on our cars and treated most people with little to no respect. I myself can work on my own trucks however its alot easier to let Jeff take care of them for me and my trucks are my babies, so I am trusting Jeff with them and will continue to do so. I called Jeff immediatley when I found this report and he told me that "Scooter" is actually Richard Obrien, and he was recently fired due to not working on anything. I came to the office to see Jeff about this today and saw that the office was cleaned up, there were cars in the garage and everything looked so much better than usual. It seems to me that "SCOOTER" was just a disgruntal employee whom is upset about being fired, and this is why he filed this report. I promise everyone that A+ Automotive is better than ever and they are the best in town..... Also it actually smells better now "SCOOTER" is gone.

I promise A+ is the top garage in town......
