We contracted A Fair Estimate/ Mark Horvath do work on our backyard. The man lied that he was a member of the BBB and other organizations. He also lied that he knew how to obtain permits and how to build the structures we contracted him for. Needless to say, he had no idea how to build much of anything, he certainly was never able to obtain any permits, and basically ripped us off. He made off with close to $10k of our money. He is a liar, thief and scoundrel. This is the same company that has other ripoff reports in IL. Apparently when things got to hot in IL, the thief moved, switched company names and is now blazing a trail, stealing from decent homeowners in TX. Beware, do not let this smooth talking scoundrel into your home, let alone near your pocketbook. You will be left with shady work, a thousand excuses, low quality materials and your money will be a distant memory. If you try and take him to court, he will threaten to file bankruptcy so that you will not recover any funds.

On June 7th 2016, We went to legal arbitration and I was awarded $1650.00 from the panel of judges. The owners of the property started the project on their own by removing the roofing and most of the structure. Anyone who would like a copy of the arbitration is welcome to contact me. The original complaint that was filed was false information and should be discounted as a fraud complaint starting with the dollar amount, it was $7500.00 for this project. The the fence that I built 3 weeks earlier was to their complete satisfaction I would welcome you to contact the nieghbors in reguards to the people who fied the complaint. I have thier address and phone number.
