A+ Mini Storage Deceitful, Misleading, & Dishonest Miami Florida

I had rented a unit from A+ Mini Storage last week Thursday 5pm on September 7, 2017 at the store address located on 12200 SW 117th Ave Miami, FL 33186. Due to the severe weather conditions of Hurricane IRMA making landfall to Miami FL. on September 10, 2017, i had to rent a storage unit from A+ to store my car there. On Friday the next day within 12 hours after renting a unit from these people, i had to stop by their store and cancel my rental unit with A+ because the local tv news had broadcasted that it is strongly recommended to evacuate your area of residence, because of dangerous storm surges of IRMA resulting in high risk of flooding water reaching up to 9-12 feet high above ground level. I spoke to a guy there named Ronald as he was the same employee who opened the unit for me on Thursday last week and then closed it on Friday the next day. I did everything he said i was supposed to do, like remove the padlocks from the front and back doors of the unit. Before he did the paperwork for me prior to renting unit #710A, HE DID NOT FOREWARN & DID NOT TELL ME WHATSOEVER in advance that my payment of $267.43 i made for the whole month of rental will not be refundable. He had called me today September 12, 2017 telling me on the phone that my rental payment will not be refunded. It has only been less than one day which is only a 12 hour period that i closed down this unit and now they tell me that the whole month of unused service will not be refunded, this is absurd. What a ripoff, i will never do business with this dishonest company again!!
