The owner of this "business" Todd Park was partnering with Rod Whitten, Master Woodcarver. They worked out of this little shop in Winthrop, Maine doing custom wood carvings and other things. The only carver there is Rod...Todd has learned a little carving from Rod but he's mostly a wood burner, that's IT. Recently he told Rod to move out because he was unhappy that Rod didn't think they should split the payment they'd received on a custom, handcarved bed equally. Rod had hundreds of hours in the bed; Todd maybe invested a total of three days in the bed due to his lack of knowledge or skill. But he wanted HALF. Note: the down payment on this bed was over $13k, Todd got HALF of that already...for three days work.
Todd's website and his facebook display pictures of the carvings ROD did; when he receives compliments on the bed and other carvings he does NOT mention Rod nor does he clarify that he didn't do the work. He's misrepresenting himself as a wood carver and denying Rod any of the credit.
I can't wait for someone to request for him to do a carving. What will he do then? I hope it happens soon.
I hate that guy. He's a selfish a*****e that used Rod for all he was worth and took a ride on his coattails for as long as possible. His greed is disgusting. I can't wait for fate and karma to catch up to that loser.

While I (Rod W****) appreciate this persons possible good intentions in writing this article, all the facts are not correct. Any personal or professional differences I have with Mr. Park are of a private nature and I would have preferred to have kept it that way. I hope that anyone that reads the above article will not allow it to deter you from doing business with Mr. Park and A Moment in Time.
