I ordered several hundred beer steins and indicated I needed the steins by no later than October 1st for a community event on October 2nd. I was assured that was not a problem. That week, because I hadn't received the steins, nor had I heard anything from A Promotional Outlet, I started calling and emailing to learn the status. I either heard nothing, or I heard they would check on it and get back to me. Despite several calls and emails, I didn't hear anything until the deadline, when I was told there was a problem with the factory and they couldn't provide the steins to me in time. They offered a discount for late delivery, but our non-profit organization couldn't use them after October 2nd. I indicated that day (October 1st) we wanted a full refund. It's now November 30th (almost two months later), and we still have not received the refund. In a phone call today (magically answered!), I was told it had been taken care of, but we still don't have the money, and the person with whom I spoke couldn't provide details as to when/how the refund had been "taken care of". My advice: do not do business with this company!

Refund Finally Received!

AUTHOR: Event Coordinator - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 13, 2010

On December 8th, I contacted A Promotional Outlet and informed them I still hadn't received the refund. They informed me the refund supposedly issued on December 1st had been voided. They told me they would re-run it. I finally received the refund on Saturday, December 11th.

Still Waiting for Refund; Apparent Liars!

AUTHOR: Event Coordinator - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 08, 2010

On December 1, 2010, A Promotional Outlet claimed (again) to have issued a refund. This time they provided a refund receipt claiming to have credited the amount to my credit card, complete with Transaction ID number and Authorization Code (even though I requested they issue a refund check). It's now been one week, still no credit. I checked with the credit card company (willing to give A Promotional Outlet the benefit of the doubt) and was told they "have not received any information about a credit to [the] account. Please contact the merchant." DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!
