A Solid Gold Sound RIP-OFF, DISHONEST WEDDING VIDEO Columbia Maryland

I was shocked when doing an Internet search on A Solid Gold Sound and found many complaints listed for the exact same reason - no wedding video ever received by the brides. I to hired this company to videotape my wedding in July 2005. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks after my event to receive my video, I was also told they needed the original photos for the "time of your life" portion of the tape. I was told by the sales rep. Jeremy that if I paid in full I would receive a few extras (extra copies, original footage on DVD), so of course I paid in full.

After the initial six weeks passed I called A Solid Gold Sound to find out the day I should be receiving my video. Needless to say I did not get a straight answer. On my last phone conversation I did bring up the fact that there are many complaints against them for this exact same thing and John (the owner) did get defensive. Below is a list of many phone conversations I have had with this company regarding my video.

The worst part of the entire experience is 1) they were listed as a "featured" vendor on theknot.com and 2) I will never have a video of my wedding.

9/19/05 - Spoke with Rob and was told an editor will call me back with the status of my video. All are in a meeting at the current time. Pictures were received, by noon tomorrow will know more. Never received a phone call back.
9/20/05 - The video is in the query to be edited; Jim will call back with the date it will be ready. Never received a call back
9/23/05 - Was told that A Solid Gold Sound is behind on editing, it will be no more than 4 more weeks.
10/21/05 - Spoke with Rob, he will check with editing. I never received a phone call back
10/24/05 - Spoke with Jim, he will check with editing. I never received a phone call back
10/25/05 - Spoke with Jim, he will have Rob call me back, should know more by Friday (10/28). Never received a phone call back.
10/28/05 - Spoke with Rob, will have my video within 10 days guaranteed.
11/16/05 - Spoke with Rob & John. John authorized partial refund (amount was not discussed). Rob took all my information to issue the refund (no refund has been processed at this time). John is checking with the editing supervisor Joel, will have a response by Friday (11/18). I did not receive a call back.
11/17/05 - Spoke with John, Rob has not been able to get in touch with Joel. I requested Joel's phone number so I could call him directly; I was not given the number. Will have an answer by Tues. (11/22).
11/22/05 - Was told by John my video was lost and they are looking for it. If they cannot find it I will be given a full refund and they are willing to make a photo collage for me.
11/23/05 - Spoke with John was told my video has not been located; Rob is putting my original photos in the mail to me today. I will start to receive refunds in increments of $150 starting next week.
