A1 USA Movers, National Moving Network ripoff business from hell, Moving Nightmare doubled the price stole the furniture took the money! Houston Texas

I wish I had read this website before contracting my move with National Moving Network! They subcontracted to A1 USA Movers in Houston to move our belongings from Omaha to Houston and a second dropoff in Florida.

The driver shows up alone to load all the contents of a two bedroom apt. He shows up a day late. It took 12 hours to load the items. The driver shows up two days late in Houston to deliver some of the goods. They estimated the weight to determine a price. The driver flashes a weigh ticket showing the weight as double what they estimated, which then doubled the price! He collects payment in full in Houston. He was then suppose to take the rest to Florida. He steals the truck.

A1 USA has put us off for two months now and will not reimburse us for the Florida portion of the move and on the FEW occasions you can get them on the phone, they claim at some point in the future, they will only pay $.60/lb on the stolen furniture. This equates to about 10% of the furniture value!

We followed up with the Houston police on the theft of the truck. I spoke to the officer who caught the driver and questioned him. The officer informed me this guy is an ex-con with a violent history, which is the TYPICAL employee hired by A1 USA Movers.

We are two months into this with NO furniture, No reimbursement, RUDE (if any) response from Jesus Salazar, owner of A1 USA Movers in Houston.

National Moving network, who we originally contracted with, takes NO responsibility for this.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS with National Moving Network or A1 USA Movers, unless you want to be ripped off and have your life at risk dealing with their ex-con, violent history, thief employess!
