AVOID this DISREPUTABLE business!!  Discovered too late they have 34 BBB complaints in the past 3 years. Took my sewing machine in March 23 for a service and paid $75 up front, later found out that was the diagnostic fee.  Was told I would be notified if any needed repairs were found. Shop tried to contact me about the machine on April 2, said they would call me back on April 4.  I called the shop April 4 and left a message for the service manager.  Received a call on April 7 from someone (sounded different than service manager, not sure) who told me my machine was ready for pickup. 

Quick call - that was it. I went in to pick it up April 8 and was informed my balance was $138.  I was very upset that I hadn't been called to discuss repairs, the service manager insisted that he had discussed this with me on the phone.  I told him quite emphatically that he had not, no one had, and he insisted we had that conversation.  I asked, "Why would I be so upset and surprised if we had that discussion?" At one point another person (I think son) replied, "You're a good actress??"

They would not let me have my machine even though I paid for the repairs until I signed another receipt that claimed I (the customer) was satisfied, among other things. I finally signed it with a note on it that said I was not satisfied.  They still wouldn't let me have my sewing machine until I signed one without any notations. Do not be fooled by their smooth smiles and starched shirts - I don't know where these guys are from but they do business in a very different way.  There are many, many other reviews from people with experiences similar to mine on several review websites.
