Aaron Rents Infested Our Home With BED BUGS! Atlanta Georgia

We did a short term furniture rental through Aaron Rents due to a short term transfer for my husband's employer. The furniture that Aaron Rents, Inc. sent us wound up being infested with bed bugs when we received it, which in turn, resulted in everything we owned in the house becoming infested. Even when we moved back they came with us and our home wound up infested as well.

After months and months of attempted exterminations with different extermination companies, instead of getting better it just continued to get worse. These things are extremely hard to get rid of. The entomologist that was brought in on the case said that it was going to be almost impossible to get rid of them. Finally, he advised us that the only way to rid ourselves of the infestation was to literally walk away from the house and all of it's contents because, as he explained it to us, if you have one bug that goes with you it will start the re infestation all over again. Our children would wake up in the morning covered with bites, as would we and our new born baby boy.

Our last resort was to do what the entomologist recommended and we literally had to walk away from our home and all of it's contents, furniture, toys, family heirlooms, with just the clothes on our backs. The worst thing is that with all that has happened to us because of all of this, Aaron Rents refuses to help us even though they ADMITTED fault! They ADMITTED that the furniture they sent us was infested when they sent it and refuse to help us! They told us to sue them "if we can afford attorneys" like they can. We have tried to slowly replace what we can when we can, but the kids have lost all of their toys, clothes, beds...so it has been a slow process and we are not Trumps or Hiltons so it has been very hard.

Finally, we were forced to file a law suit against Aaron Rents in an attempt to force them to replace what we have lost...our home, furniture, clothes, etc. We have started a web site in the hopes of gaining public support to try to force Aaron Rents to do the right thing.
