Basically, I went into an Aaron's looking at T.V.'s to buy when the sales person qouted me an outragous price. Because the sign on the door said they would beat any price or give me $100.00 cash I decided to do bussiness. I decided to do bussiness and shop around. I found the same exact television, with the same serial number and in a competitors store right accross the street for $272.00 cheaper. When I went back to the Aaron's they said they couldn't match the price. Gave me some speel about no manager in the store that could write up the deal. Which doesn't make much sense, (I thought a manager had to be on duty at all times, even if it is only a third key manager). Told me to come back on a monday. Before they told me to come back the guy who clamed he was the manager pretty much cursed me out because I was shopping for comparitive rates. All in all I think it is false advertiseing and just want the hundred dollars, I won't do bussiness with them ever again.

I agree that serial numbers are unique, and to have same serial numbers is most likely incorrect. However, how are you a law student (or Dr.?)? Your spelling and grammar are horendous. I could not imagine someone representing me that can't even spell "explane". Sorry but I had to get that off my chest.

Hello, I am Hud. I am a law student, and my proffeser told me about this site to dispute subjects. I will start by letting you know, when you go into aarons lease to own store, you have to options. One you can lease to own, as the sign reads, or you can buy it right then. After investagating aarons, the price if you were to lease to own is higher, than if you were to pay cash. I also seen a sign saying something sorta the same. Please don't quote me, But it said if you find someone to beat our price we will match it up to one hundred dollars. Also on the sign it said at the bottom does not include any special offers regular price only, excludes leasing to own. Now maybe I am wrong maybe, but I am sure that they have a great explnation with evidence to back it like, a video of the day you were there, a copy of the sign that was hanging on the store, and witnesses. However if you were cursed you should file a complaint with headquaters, aarons is a national store. Now the reason I took intrest in your case is the point blank straght out lie you told, and i really dont like liars. The evidence I have to back it is, " I found the same exact television, with the same serial number and in a competitors store right accross the street for $272.00 cheaper." It is possible you found a tv for two hundred seventy two dollars cheaper than the lease price, but it is a 2.324% chance it was two hundred seventy two dallars cheaper than the retail price. However still possible. What isn't possible is it had the same serial number. If we were in cort i would give you a chance to tell the truth, if not I would have my evidence ready to show everyone how the serial number can never be the same on two same tv's. Then i would ask you were you took the serial number from, and then if you knew i would explane how they would never let you move the tv to get the number off the back.
